Quite good... I suppose those guys following him could only be Snorks, although Snorks don't move like that.
He should have used a grenade and blew himself up. I bet it would be quicker and less painful ;)

I think they must be zombies, not stalker zombies, but "ordinary" zombies who were cut out of the game too along with "necropolis" location.

They could be civilians who were revived just after death or brainwashed civilians with augmented strength - so-called "zombies".

Seeing as they show up as warm-bodied in those infrared images, I'd say they're definitely not zombies. Zombies, by definition, are dead, so their bodies shouldn't be warm :)
