Just in case anyone was interested, the
System Shock article on Wikipedia recently reached "Featured Article" status. If you don't know what that means, according to the site:
"Featured articles are considered to be the best articles in Wikipedia, as determined by Wikipedia's editors. Before being listed here, articles are reviewed at "Wikipedia:Featured article candidates" for accuracy, neutrality, completeness, and style according to our featured article criteria.
At present, there are 1,394 featured articles, of a total of 1,792,357 articles on Wikipedia."In other words, someone (not me, was it someone here?) took the time to make it one of the top articles on the site. It also means it has the potential to be featured on the front page of Wikipedia at some point, which will hopefully allow more people to learn about it and perhaps check it out.
Anyway, I just thought it was interesting. Here is the link to the article if anyone else wants to take a look:

Anyone whose a gamer knows a gamer, who knows a gamer, who loves System Shock. So by this point most people have heard of the game. And those who haven`t deserve a good whack on the head by this point in time.
Bioshock more than anything else lately, has brought attention to System Shock (since its a spiritual successor) through numerous gaming sites.
