Unless one is trying to make some money now, and don't kid yourself some people have bought them, and then change it over later to sell even more shirts, probably some to the people who already bought a Thi4f one.

To be honest, I saw "Thi4f" and read it "Thief 4", so I take no real issue with the logo, especially because it's a placeholder.
I actually kinda want to get one of those shirts... people might ask what it was and I could spout a good 5-10 min. speech on it.
Look, the logo advertises itself. Very cunning, EM, very cunning indeed...
(My logic is skewed, but that's not what counts)

I love this :) I think it'd create an incredibly beautiful image.
While I actually never minded the possibility of Thi4f, I could picture the cover of the game to be something like this..
An otherwise empty street corner, set in the typical Thief setting we're oh so familiar with. A single hanging torch light gives the corner an ambiant lighting effect, detailing the surrounding brickwork. A lone figure, a man in a dark cape with his back to the front, is entering the shadows to the back. The logo is shone above on a black background.
Of course, now that I've said this it won't happen ^^' Still, I can see it in my head, and I think it looks nice.
