I'd LOVE to see the "4" on it, so people wouldn't come in here thinking this game started it all, and have no appreciation for the rich history, especially if it is a sequel and not a reboot.

I have a feeling it will be a sequal in name only, ie set after the events of thief 3, with some mentionings etc, but it will be a reboot.
JTR, every community needs new members, I'd rather have 100 more people to talk about thief with who play 1-3 after 4, than only 10 who played 1, 2 and 3 first.

The idea doesn't work design wise - the logo isn't clean/clear enough.

Oh I absolutely agree! You'll find that the majority of us just can't stand all the n00b questions asked a hundred times, or gamers who argue FOREVER that their game is so much better, practically spitting on the legacy. I understand they have that right, but it gets frikkin' tiring listening to that crap. You have no idea how many members LEFT because they couldn't stomach the influx of narrow-mindedness and juvenility. On the agreement side, we've made many new friends and long-time members who could plug right in to our unique community.
I no longer tolerate someone who doesn't generally act their age, IQ, and education level, and new games bring a load of people like that onto the boards. I like to see people be their better selves.
