Bah. I don't. The standalone episodes were far better than the quote unquote mythology crap. Barring Anasazi/The Blessing Way, every single one of my favorite X-Files episodes had nothing to do aliens. Because of that, I can easily forgive it for not tying up some loose plot points at the end of the series.
And I stand by my opinion that the recent X-Files movie was good too.

"Blood" from season 2 is my new favourite episode of anything ever.
Though I also like "3" (very depressing episode), "One Breath" (same) and "Humbug" is an old favourite. All from Season 2.

John Doggett was an awesome character, I don't care what anybody else says.

A people recycling old crap because of the recession? Is that the media equivalent of darning your socks?

Agreed. I don't know why everyone threw stones at it, it was a very solid and pleasant X-Files episode.

I went through the first three seasons again recently (had an excellent time), and I must say that the episodes written by Darin Morgan ("Humbug", the incredible "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose", "War of the Coprophages" and "Jose Chung's From Outer Space") are among the best thing that ever happened to the X-Files.

My problem with it was that it would have made a pretty forgettable mid-season episode, but was dragged out to feature length. It wasn't a bad film as such, it was just completely pointless.

Yes! War of the Coprophages especially is fantastic.

I don't have Season 3 yet, so I'll have to find that out for myself.
But "Blood" is by and large my favourite episode from Season 2. It's just so fantastically surreal.

God I still remember those babies in the original V and when that one seemingly human looking baby had the long forked tongue. Was only a kid but that scene still sticks with me... hope the new one is as good as the original.

It will be interesting to see if this remake of V is any cop...

WOW how it was much more striking as a little kid... haha. Man how effects have changed. I have not seen that since it was on TV twenty some odd years ago.
