I noticed that when I make a new post, the smilies in the box to the right don't have fixed positions, but instead keep switching their places. I thought this is a random process (whatever the reason behind this), but then I noticed that certain "configurations" appear quite often (for example the  smilie being in the top right corner, with the  smilie to its left, then the :o one and so on.
Anyway, I wondered, is this on purpose (like, to keep some ppls from overusing certain smilies), or is it some funky side effect of vB3?
Oh, and I'm using Opera 7.53, and tried both Guided and Enhanced posting modes.

Looks like it occasionally shifts the rows around - it seems that the one that begins with :o is usually at the top, but sometimes it's somewhere else and some of the other rows move up. Weird.
Edit: Okay, perhaps not. They're all over the place if I go to the reply page again now. Perhaps it's something to do with the number of posts in the thread, too. Regardless, it looks like it is intentional.

I imagine it is down to the smilies all having a display order of 1 by default, which was not intentional on our part. Anyway, I've given each smiley it's own display order attribute so that *should* fix it. I don't use the standard or WYSIWYG editors, so I've not seen it happen.

I see. Thanks for clearing up this mystery, Dave! :thumb:
