So let's see what mysteries are left to solve -
How long before Walt freaks out because they've left Vincent behind?

What shark? I didn't see any damn shark!!
In "Adrift" Michael and Sawyer are attacked by a shark, remember? We only see brief glimses of the shark, but when I was watching the episode I could have sworn I saw the Dharma symbol. Then later on people posted screencaps and yep, there it was. The producers also confirmed it.
Oh, and Griffin - that's why Walt and Micahel aren't going to be gone next season! They forgot Vincent, but on their way back to get him Michael crashes the boat (because he's an idiot and he was driving it with only one arm :P)
Dia on 25/5/2006 at 20:55
Oh yeah! That shark! I have a tendency to close my eyes during 'Shark Moments', so I wouldn't have seen a symbol there even if there was one. :o
I don't think they're gonna crash the boat. Walt will probably get all overly emotional about not wanting to leave without his friends & dog or not wanting to get on another boat evar & he'll jump overboard & Michael will have to go back to the Island to get him and then I hope Hurley beats Michael to death.
Is that it then for AnaLucia & Libby (yes, I'm in denial)? It occured to me that if they brought those two back then they'd have to bring back Shannon & Boone and I don't think that's likely.
T-Smith on 25/5/2006 at 21:04
I'm pretty sure that's it for Ana Lucia and Libby. No doubt we'll see both of them again in future flashbacks, but I seriously doubt their corpses are gonna come back to life and start walking around the island.
They could return in dreams too I suppose.

Now there's a scene I'll be sure to Tivo. Gads someone's got to give that guy a good beat down.
"Dude, not cool...*whack*...she was like my first girlfriend dude...*whack*..."
Mainly though, I just hope Mr. Eko is not exiled to flashback land. He was very interesting...the only one Jack didn't try to bully.

Now I watched that episode on a small and fuzzy TV but if there's a logo and it was confirmed then I hope this doesn't mean the island is guarded by robot sharks. Funny, 'cause in the first season I was wondering if the island turns out to be some bond villian's secret hideout then the show will be ruined for me.
Don't know if anyone else has heard about this but apparently Ubisoft is going to put out a Lost game in 2007. Personally I call it being Sawyer's Polar Bear Safari.
T-Smith on 25/5/2006 at 21:21
I heard. Ubisoft is an interesting choice, because they do the console versions of Far Cry, which takes place on remote islands filled with tropical jungles and underground facilities.
As for the whole shark thing, my guess? The shark was an experiment Dharma was working with, but after the "incident" it managed to get free, just like the polar bear (and perhaps also the smoke monster). The polar bear might have a Dharma logo on it as well, but we haven't seen it for quite some time.

CLANCY BROWN! AGAIN!
Then they killed him :(
Very good episode, lots of great moments. The capsules from the Pearl, finally learning about the Swan (the countdown, the lockdown AND the whole "incident" business), why the plane crashed, Desmond (good backstory for once)...
Too bad about the invisible map if the Swan was really blown up

But did the Swan literally 'blow up'? I don't recall an actual explosion; just intense light and a sound that made everbody cover their ears. I know the Swan is destroyed, regardless, since they showed it imploding; the images of the Swan showed a geodesic dome, the supports of which had to be metal, so yeah, no more Swan. I'm just wondering if Eko & Locke made it out. It still seems to me that their stories aren't done yet; they're still too integral to the series.

:laff: Loved that!

I doubt Eko and Locke are dead. Desmond's iffy. They're not robots so I don't think that electromagnetic charge would have hurt them. However, being inside of The Swan while it's metal supports were ripped and twisted apart, flying inward, might have caused some more problems.
If the map blast door survives, there's the problem of how they'll view the map again. If The Swan is totally wrecked, they won't have the blue light.
