I thought for sure Michael was going to put a pillow over Libby's face & also glad they didn't make her death that formulaic. & what was up with Eko trying to convince Locke that pushing the button is a worthwhile thing now?? It was pretty obvious from the video (narrated by that Dr. who seemed to be having a serious identity crisis) that it was just an experiment in human behavior (and what the hell happened to Desmond?). Poor Hugo; he's really going to be scarred for life now. Wait!! Errant thought; since the island seems to mysteriously heal, does that mean there's a chance AnaLucia & Libby might be resurrected? No - wait again; Boone & Shannon are still dead, so that's not likely. I just really don't like it that their (Ana & Libby's) stories haven't been fully told yet. God I hope they don't use more flashbacks; I'm beginning to despise all those flashbacks. I MEAN WHAT WAS THE FUCKING POINT OF GIVING THOSE TWO WOMEN INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE STORY IF THEY WERE JUST GOING TO GET KILLED OFF??!!! Sorry; I'm just frustrated with this latest twist.
When I checked out the Hanso site I was impressed with the different areas of research, which, of course tie into the site (Zanzibar?). The two that fascinated me were the genomic and life extension projects. Could it be that this virus that's running loose on the island actually genetically changes people (or kills them if they're resistant or just don't have a compatible genetic structure to begin with?)? And just how old are the Others (life extension?)?? Was Danielle one of the original team sent by GWC to investigate the research being conducted on the island (i.e., the transgenic virus) or was she just part of the 'shift change'? (It's hard to spend any time on that site since I'm @ work; but am dying to check out DV's hidden message thingy.)
The previews for next week kind of ruined my theory that Michael was brainwashed because it shows a woman telling him that Walt is right there (or something like that). But why let fake Henry go? And why shoot the ladies? Part of an agreement to get his son back? Surely he could have made something up rather than kill them. And what's with the psycho looks he gets on his face when nobody's looking? Well, good thing we've got Sayid; he obviously tweaks to the fact that Mikey is a liarface on next week's episode. At least there's still one rational person left on the island.

We don't know what the human behavior experiment is though, I could be anything, likely someting from one of the other hatches. The good Dr (Candle or Wickman, take you pick) made a huge point of saying that he wasn't going to reveal what the specfic thing was that they were observing.
Eko knows that the buton is important now, based on his brother's visits to his dreams, and the fact that the psychic's dead daughter came back to life for the sole purpose of passing a message along to Eko. Eko probably feels that there's no way all this would happen if it was just some simple experiement.
I regards to Desmond, word has it that (season finale spoiler coming)
he shows up in the last two-hour episode, and we see how he came to the hatch and all of the hatch secrets are revelaed. The writers have stated that it's time to end the hatch story and move on to new mysteries.
Next one's supposed to be Michael-centric. Which kind of bugs me because his are the weakest and least interesting flashbacks, at least in terms of contributing OOOO to the storyline.
You're kidding, right? Weird shit is constantly going on around Walt- not to mention that the Others want him for some reason.
Dia on 12/5/2006 at 12:49
Yeah, but that's Walt, not Michael. Face it, until Mikey went postal he was a pretty dull guy. I hope Sawyer seriously kicks Michael's ass. Why Sawyer? Why not?! ;)

stop projecting your sexual fantasties onto the show
Dia on 12/5/2006 at 18:51
Fine! I'll project them on you, then. And I promise it'll hurt.
Renzatic on 12/5/2006 at 18:54
Oooh. Someone's gonna get BJ'ed! :ebil:
Take that as you will. With Dia it can go either/or.

OH! On the video -- after the 8 hour shifts in the Pearl they catch the ferry back to BLWKLHF. Where the hell is that? Do they speak English in BLWKLHF? I thought that was a cool tease, for sure.
I was fairly sure Dr. Identity Crisis (anyone else notice that in the video for The Swan, he has a left arm, while in the video for The Pearl both his arms are fine? Might have just been part of the 'act' for the experiment, assuming The Swan was the station where the experiment was) said that those inside The Pearl were to take the 'Pala Ferry' back to the 'Barracks'.
Of course, I could be wrong. BLWKLHF makes a lot of sense too I suppose :p
