Just got to drop a bombshell that someone recently said to me:
There were 2 separate planes involved.
Don't ask me...I didn't say it. Apparently there's something to do with the seating plans and where the characters were.

What? Two seperate planes involving the characters we already know, or characters we have yet to meet?
Scots Taffer on 2/10/2005 at 14:36
The person I was speaking to says that: it's obvious from studying the spoof website that there were two flights involving the characters that we know now... something to do with the seating plans and the placement of the characters that we know. I am really dubious though and there's no evidence to support it... I haven't checked out the website.

Bittorrents are non-existant on the older episodes (last season) and I'd like a copy. Anyone know where I can direct download them?

Psst Infernalis... (
http://www.tvtorrents.com) TVTorrents.com
But yeah, now that season 1 is out on DVD, I'd definitely recommend buying or renting those.

Just saw (
http://homepage.mac.com/mprieve/.Public/lost.mpg) this posted on another forum.
Supposedly it's a UK trailer for the show that either has a lot of symbolism, or is a total mindfuck.
Also, I ♥ Beth Gibbons.

That was our ad campaign for the first season. I dunno, I just thought it was completely crazy but cool at the same time - like a CK1 ad from hell.

Well, that was an interesting episode (2.03). At least it revealed more than the previous one. Still a bit low on the 'revelations', both in flashbacks and actual mystery unravelling, but bearable.
So, those numbers, what about 'em? I can partly accept people 'pulled' there in some sort of paranormal way, but are the numbers anything but a fun little red herring? The only way I see the numbers actually having some kind of intrinsic significance would be if they somehow have to do with a formula to predict the future, natural patters, like in that movie PI.
also, wasn't Samuel L. Jackson supposed to play a role in the first episode?

Cool- I don't know anything about them, really. I just googled it and got my information from sites explaining the meaning of the Korean flag, and from martial arts sites explaining what they mean because they use them in their teaching philosophy. If you know more about it, you might be able to divine more clues. Especially what the symbol in the middle is, and what is written on it. Anyway, with the connections I've found, I'm wondering if Sun's godfather-esque powerful CEO dad (and Jin's boss) has anything to do with the island...
Sorry it took me so long to reply. The tangrams themselves don't have any meaning as they are in the circle. I will check on the order they're in when I get home and have a chance (stupid school filters). I'll let you all know if there is any, but I really doubt it. They stand for things such as change, harmony, splitting apart, rotting, keepuing still, that sort of stuff.
