Reviewers should have to pass an exam where they have to actually explain what terms like "Emergent" mean before they're allowed to use them in their reviews.
They could have a badge and everything.

Buzzwords, that's all it is.
Like when people started saying they were ON-line at the market or DMV, instead of IN-line? Pardon, but people have gotten IN line for centuries. Computers get ON-line.
Or when designers started saying "assets", instead of "resource files" or even just "art shit". "Quickly! We need to finalize the third scenario ASSETS!!! We are just big kids making compie games, but if we use big words we'll be more respected in the business world!!!"
Now, from my company's use of "emergent technology" (yeah right, we're still going to go belly-up, no matter what they call the crap we produce), to "emergent gaming", we have a new whoop-dee-doo buzzword.
I for one refuse to participate!!! :P
