Heretic + Hexen remasters stealth dropped for Quakecon, by Night Dive. If you already had 1 of the games on Steam or GOG, they've given it to you for free.
Stand outs will probably the new campaign episodes for each game by Night Dive + Id. You can probably copypasta them into the source port of your choice like GZDoom as PWAD addons.

Recommending (
https://arcturusdeluxe.itch.io/project-osiris) Project Osiris, the GZDoom remake of Alien Breed 3D. I finished the whole game twice on the highest difficulty and still keep coming back to replay certain maps.
In 1995, Alien Breed 3D was a valiant attempt at a DooM clone on the Commodore Amiga. The engine was impressive, the game design was pretty good, but the machine's specs limited the game to a 2x2 pixel resolution, a tiny viewport, and low framerates. Project Osiris removes these limitations, as well as improving gameplay, graphics, and sound.

I remember the beautifully rendered cutscenes and awesome Morricone-like soundtrack fondly.

"Where are ya Marshal?!"
Ah, good memories. Outlaws is probably my favourite "boomer shooter" of all time. I remember playing the demo level over and over again, it was just so good. I loved the punishing difficulty and the atmosphere. And the soundtrack - despite being a total Morricone ripoff - is still amazing. Speaking of ripoffs, I noticed that game costs 27€ which feels a bit too much for a remaster to me, but I'm still looking forward to this.
