Probably that the deep state gave them a killer strain of COVID on purpose because they got too close to
tHe trUThImpossible, too plain, too simple, there's of course some more convoluted way to fool people.
Oh wait, just tell them what they want to hear :p
Remember the basic trick of the Right:
*pose as the "right guy" talking about "market" meritocracy with libertarian (not "libtard") narrative but with patriotic accent
*obtain a (critical) mass of failed individuals taking cover in conspiracy theories "
IT'S NOT MY FAULT, THEY WANT ME TO FAIL!!!11 I'M NOT DUMB!!111 I'M A PATRIOT!!111 THIS COUNTRY CAN'T LEAVE ME IN SHIT!!1111"
*feed the conspiracies and victimhood stance in exchange of perfectly guaranteed *VOTES*
*use the VOTES as you wish pretending to "help the people in the right way"
*Repeat
Democracy (ahahah, that's how the Hitler's democracy works) wins :)

Here in Melbourne, Australia, there are maskless anti-vaxx protestors occupying the city. They're now reporting mass outbreaks but the online buzz from several groups is they think it's a secret government bioweapon and not Covid.

(
https://religionnews.com/2021/12/02/why-sorcery-was-the-fastest-growing-search-term-on-bible-gateway-in-2021/) Vaccines are akin to witchcraft apparently
Quote:
Pharmakeia” appears in Galatians 5:19-21: “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
The word also appears in Revelation 18:23, which reads in part, “By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.”
More recently, it has appeared in debates over COVID-19 prevention measures, particularly opposition by some charismatic and evangelical Christians to vaccines against the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
Perhaps most prominently, Sherri Tenpenny — an osteopathic doctor and longtime anti-vaccine activist who appears on the Center for Countering Digital Hate's “Disinformation Dozen” list — used the term this past year during her Instagram Bible study “Happy Hour with Dr. T.”
In a March 25 video, Tenpenny took aim at pastors, priests and rabbis who closed their houses of worship during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and later opened them as vaccination centers, “pleasing the pharmakeia, the sorcerers, no doubt,” she said. In an April 8 video, she again mentioned church leaders opening their sanctuaries to “sorcerers” to administer COVID-19 vaccines, which she believes are “experimental genetic modification tools” that will “permanently mark” recipients.

people on the street we giving me shit for wearing a mask, saying I'm scared of the virus and it won't kill me. but my flatmate and his wife run a business where they deal with the public. if i get sick, my mate's going to have to close his business -_-
Anti-vaxx/anti-mask people really can't comprehend a world in which what people do affects others around them. You see that in their arguments about why they shouldn't need to wear a mask, also in their deliberate misunderstanding of how vaccines works, and basically not getting it that if I'm wearing a mask it's so I don't give the virus to YOU in case I get a mild infection. I'm vaccinated, I don't know the vaccine status of anyone else, and me getting sick would affect other people I live and work with negatively.
EDIT:
i shouldn't read news. anti-vaxx people eating "magic dirt" someone sold them from near a landfill as a cure-all. It was contaminated with lead and arsenic. $110 for 4 ounces of sludge from next to a waste dump. and they were bathing their children in it. But don't dare take that FDA approved medicine, because you just don't know what in it. (

From what I've gathered, quite a few scientists seem to think that due to evolutionary pressures it will eventually become the fifth coronavirus causing a portion of the common colds. And there's some speculation about how the four mild ones we currently have might have been more aggressive at some point in the past.
I mentioned one of these back in August 2020 :D

A closer analogue would seem to be coronavirus HCoV-OC43. Caused the Russian flu in 1889 and killed a million people. These days it's a common cold virus.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/missouri-commissioned-then-buried-a-report-that-found-mask-mandates-save-lives/ar-AARpZH7)
Quote:
The office of Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) asked the state health department on Nov. 1 to study how mask mandates affected COVID-19 numbers in the state, the health department responded Nov. 3 that its analysis found they saved lives and reduced the spread of the coronavirus, and that analysis wasn't made public until nonprofit news organizations obtained it through a public records request
...
The Missouri Independent reported Wednesday that the health department's analysis found lower infection and death rates in the four areas of Missouri with mask mandates — St. Louis, St. Louis County, Kansas City, and Jackson County — from the end of April until the end of October, the peak of Missouri's Delta wave.
...
The Independent's analysis found that the "masked" areas had 15.8 new COVID-19 cases a day for every 100,000 residents, versus 21.7 cases per 100,000 residents in the areas with no mask mandates, and less frequent deaths.
...
[Missouri Gov. Mike] Parson responded to the Independent's report by attacking the reporter, calling the article "purposefully misleading," and suggesting Kauerauf also opposes mask mandates.
Quote:
Kauerauf hasn't publicly commented on the report, but in his first remarks as state health director in September, he said from "everything I've read, everything I've seen: masks work." A global study published Nov. 18 in the British Medical Journal found that mask-wearing reduces COVID-19 incidence by 53 percent, making it the single most effective public health measure.
So the upshot is that Missouri is run by mask skeptics who want to outlaw mask mandates. They commissioned a report, which found that masks worked hella good, then shelved the report because they didn't like the results. "Covid Enthusiasts" hard at work in Missouri fucking things up.
---
Meanwhile in my city of Melbourne Australia, there was a 7 month stretch of *zero* Covid cases, down from a peak of 700 a day. If it wasn't the masks, what was it? People could still go to the supermarkets during the whole period.
Starker on 5/12/2021 at 00:56
I suspect that it's not really because they are skeptical of masks, but simply because it's politically expedient. You bet most those politicians and pundits who rail against vaccines and masks were first in line to get vaccinated. Fox News, for example, has had stricter policies internally than the public health measures that they excoriate.

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jaipur/omicron-has-mild-symptoms-no-loss-of-taste-smell-docs/articleshow/88131854.cms) Yet more good news about Omicron. That they're conducting tests on the patients and finding no complications is extremely encouraging
Quote:
Jaipur: After keeping a close eye on the symptoms of the nine cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, doctors at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College have said they did not find any complications and the symptoms were mild.
The doctors said the symptoms of the Omicron variant were mostly different from that of the Delta variant, which dominated the second wave of Covid-19. The doctors claimed that the criticality is much less in Omicron than in the Delta variant.
"All nine patients are stable. While some of them are asymptomatic, others have mild symptoms. They do not have complications and are on the path of recovery," Dr Sudhir Bhandari, principal, and controller of SMS medical college, told TOI.
The doctors are conducting their tests, including HRCT and other tests such as D-dimer, but none of them reported any complications. In Omicron-positive patients, involvement of lungs has not been found yet, which was quite common among Delta patients. "None of the nine patients have lost their taste or smell. This is unlike the Delta variant. Also, none of them has any difficulty in breathing and they do not require any oxygen," said Dr Bhandari, who added that they are constantly monitoring the situation in South Africa, where the Omicron variant is taking a toll on the health of the people.
"In South Africa, out of 1,000 patients, only 4.9% required ICU beds. The criticality is less in the case of Omicron, but manifold transmissibility and infectivity is a concern," said Dr Bhandari.
Since omicron has entered the state, Dr Bhandari said two doses of vaccination is important as those who are doubly vaccinated have very mild symptoms. The doctor also urged residents to follow Covid appropriate behaviour.

That is good news - would be interested to know what symptoms are like in the unvaccinated though as regular flavour COVID is also relatively mild in vaccinated patients.
Either way, good to know existing vaccines have it covered.

Coronaviruses are known as one of the types responsible for common colds: (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_cold)
They're second on the list:
Quote:
Well over 200 virus strains are implicated in causing the common cold, with rhinoviruses, coronaviruses, adenoviruses and enteroviruses being the most common.
The issue isn't where they end up, it's what they get up to before they become milder. The bigger issue is how to stop new outbreaks from species barrier jumping.
