Interesting how the pathogen's target overlaps:
1) Trump's voting block (elderly)
2) Pesky "pre-existing condition" folk who make the financial issues with "Medicare for All" moot
The
disease targets the elderly cause their immune system (over)reacts badly, the virus targets everybody (and it seems to love the tissues with abundance of ACE2 receptors, so this can explain why male lungs are more attacked than the female ones).
Here in Bergamo we got in 2 months the Kawakasi (->children) cases equal to sum of the 3 past years, guess why. Children do not vote (but can die too / get other diseases induced by SARS2).

Man when lowenz starts lecturing you not to go off the rails with the science, you really have to take a step back and review your stance. :laff:
It's like that time Slash told Duff maybe he should cut down on the drugs. That's when you really know you're over the line and need to take a hard look at yourself.
Sorry, that observation had to be made just for the sheer irony of it. Carry on.

So why isn't Trump doing everything in his power to protect the core of his voting base, instead of dismissing it as overhyped, and demanding we reopen the economy sooner rather than later?
Okay, so we're allowing a manufactured virus created by the Chinese to run loose across the world, killing those with preexisting conditions, in order to financially justify a healthcare system that literally the rest of the world has had in place for decades now, and has long since been proven to handily support those with preexisting conditions.
Did I get that right, or am I missing The Catch?
The DNC is run by Neoliberals. They do not really want a true "public option" or "medicare for all", they only want to use those ideas to bait voters and then implement Obamacare 2.0
where the HMO's get even more coerced funds from the middle-class and even more concessions are made to coverage. The elimination of "pre-existing condition" people is a great gift
to the HMO industry who will surely repay the DNC by generously endorsing their candidates.

Nbohr, this simply proves that every event on this political-forsaken world is manipulated for "the democracy" by the think tanks of the parties, it proves nothings about the nature of SARS2.
You're simply not seeing that politicians manipulate everything to conquer consensus, they feed paranoia/bash with antiparanoia to promote their agendas.
The same here in Italy, it's simply how the democratic politics work.
1) Lockdown reason=China did it so we did it too because you know, it's simpler to follow and correct other state moves than to go blind.
3) You're seriously? We can't even design that technology. It's *impossible* And it's stupid to make a biological weapon based on a virus and not on the "good old" anthrax. It's not how weapon designers operate, think about Hiroshima: no "non-sense" approach, maximize the damage. Your interpretation is even less possible and real than the "multiple phases planning design".
Did you forget about CRISPR?
We currently can:
1) Identify a cancer causing gene.
2) Use CRISPR to modify a virus to remove this gene from infected humans
3) Use CRISPR to modify the virus to die once these tasks are complete

I HAVE Obamacare. It works better than any insurance I've ever had. Coerced funds? What in hell do you think we were paying Blue Cross with? Monopoly money? If we never get a true public option it's still a hundred times better than paying private insurance to screw us when we need them most. I had private insurance all my life till Obamacare. Obamacare is WAY better. If HMO's want to repay the DNC by shoving a foot long dildo up Republican senators asses for fighting to take away my health care then I'm for it.

SARS2 is not "dying". It's not even mutating in a strange fashion.
It simply can't have now the initial disruption effect and the sinergy with other conditions (human AND environmental ones).

The DNC is run by Neoliberals.
Neoliberalism is more of a right leaning market ideology, advocating for less regulation, and laissez faire capitalist policies. Reagan was their poster child, and Clinton carried the standard on with his Third Way'er centrist take on it.
I'm sure the DNC has its fair share of Neoliberals in its midst, while the Republicans are almost exclusively Neoliberal these days.
If you're gonna toss out political buzzwords, make sure you understand what means what before committing it to a post.
As for Obamacare, it was supposed to be a happy medium between state run medicare-for-all, and a pure market solution. There's really nothing sinister about it, other than the fact it hasn't done much to curb expenses, and is always bait for political fodder.

The problem with the present ACA is it's half baked, thanks to the GOP. They said, "you can have Obamacare if you remove all the good bits and add some stuff that's worse than the bad bits".
Then they can complain about how shitty it is. But even broken it is a vast improvement on private insurance.
