It sounds like you've made up your mind then. Why the fuck are you wasting our time, when you could be out waving your gun about at the governor's mansion, demanding your right to get a haircut?

I do wonder why I waste my time when you guys obviously can't handle facts.
out of all the forums I have been part of this is by far the one that lives in the biggest bubble of righteousness.no amount of links or data will change your minds.

Nothing in your links spells out anything. In the CDC link, it doesn't show where they've inflated the numbers. Your Factcheck links shows that hospitals are getting more money from Medicaid/Medicare for Covid-19 patients, but that was expected. If these hospitals are lying to get more funding, then that'd be fraud of the highest order, and you'd be seeing a lot of people going to jail over it.
All you've given us are broad assumptions you're passing around as fact, then calling us self-righteous, when you yourself come in here, post your "facts", then accuse everyone else of being stuck up when we don't accept it as gospel truth as quickly as you did.

*********We're just shy of 100,000 fatalities. We lead the world in number of dead.***************
where did that bullshit number come from? democrazy now? because 67k is a bit far from the 100k you posted.
people should indeed go to jail, if things are so bad as many of you pretend why the fuck are nurses wasting time choreographing damn videos and getting laid off?
2+2 is not an assumption, the numbers do not justify the level of stupidity the states are engaging in . shit most of you seemingly support, things are not about getting a fucking haircut, it's about getting back to work and earning a damn living because Zeus knows not everyone can afford to stay the fuck home with their thumb up their ass while the bills pile up. you have pigs letting immates out and jailing people for OMG, going to the beach while it's closed.
Governors are looking to extend shit until the middle of June or early July, you know what actually kills people ? being homeless .............. the shit most of you seemingly support is worse than the fucking disease.

Per your own link:
Deaths from Covid-19: 67,008
Deaths from Pneumonia and Covid-19: 29,529
That's altogether 96,600 Covid-19 attributable deaths. A slightly larger number than the source I was reading from.
Has it occurred to you that the reason why things aren't as bad as we were initially expecting is because of the heavy handed approach to it? There's a fairly easy cause and effect pattern that can be followed here.
And what the hell does a few nurses goofing off prove or disprove? It hasn't exactly effected the entire country in equal measures. In Hamilton County, Tennesse, we have maybe 10 beds taken up by Covid-19 patients in Chattanooga. The whole state has only seen 305 deaths. Our nurses and hospitals aren't exactly swamped over here. We even had a temporary hospital set up that we never even had to use.
Now compare what's happened here to what happened in New York. Quite a bit of difference there, huh? We didn't have to stack bodies in fridge trucks because the morgues were filling up. The pandemic has been pretty chill here overall.
Guess it's all just a conspiracy, huh?

1. yes, it is indeed possible. no real way to prove it but possible .
2. we have 30 million unemployed, that is no conspiracy. how many more unemployed will be acceptable by keeping shit closed till early July? suicides from this mess will IMHO outnumber Chinese virus deaths.
riding home, thank Thor I have a yob and can support my family. sure sucks for those who don't.

No, it's quite easy to prove. All you have to do is look at localized infection rates before the lockdown, and extrapolate what would've happened if we did nothing in response. As is, we've already come within the lower margin of expected deaths by the middle of summer.
And the shutdown. We're already going through phased reopenings. Even California, which is normally way more cautious than necessary is already in phase one. We're not going be shut down until the middle of July. Hell, the flattened curve was expected to bottom out by mid June.

Have any prisoners ACTUALLY been released? I know there was a lot of talk and some outbreaks but I can't recall any actual releases.
Oh and in a shocker newsflash jkcerda goes to hard right sites where they all say it's a lie. Thinking and facts bad. Following conservative herd good.
Renzatic on 20/5/2020 at 01:43
I believe various states have released around 15k prisoners thus far. Though contrary to popular belief, they're not letting rapists and murderers out into the streets. They've only releasing non-violent offenders who have served well over half their sentence.

I was reading up on Trump's family and read his grandfather died from the 1918 Spanish Flu.
