Also, if it doesn't already exist, can someone please code in a ban on his privileges to use ellipses.

I mean, those little protests mostly organized by a small group of political activists are getting a lot of attention, not least from the President, but they're hardly representative of the general population.

Are all the people in the US who lost their jobs due to corona getting government benefits whilst this goes on, like the rest of the world is doing?
It's the U.S., so of course the answer is "sorta kinda depends". Almost everyone is getting the "stimulus" money, employed or not - basically everyone the government can find, lol. But unemployment benefits, although supported and ostensibly expanded by the federal government, are lower than in many countries, and variable depending on State, with some places being very difficult to get benefits at all (allegedly intentionally).
EDIT: Here's some reporting on the latter issue:

I love how smart you guys are. anything that counters your feelings is a a combination of breathlessly stupid yet verbally diarrhoeic ..............
You're the one here countering objective fact with your feelings on the matter, showing us things that so quickly offended you for mostly assumed reasons, or you've misinterpreted to gross effect. The worst thing about it is that you don't correct yourself, but continue spouting off the same flawed assumptions as if no one's said anything at all.
It's like whatever you've gained off an initial first impression is solidified in your mind from that point on, and no amount of arguing or counterevidence will change your opinion. That's what makes people so angry with you here. You don't evolve an argument, you just repeat the same things over and over and over again, and it gets annoying when you launch into the 5th iteration of the same tired point.

jk's ruined the Jim's corona virus tips images. There was a far better one a month ago, where he says that this is everyone's one time in their lives where they get to do nothing and completely get away with it, and not to fuck that chance up.
Anyways. If you choose to not quarantine then your effectively saying a big FUCK YOU to everyone else's lives and that you could care less. For all you know, your carrying it, but hey at least your not stuck in your house. Some people just want to watch the world burn.
How is it that here in Aus and New Zealand, the majority get it and are self isolating without issue, with only a minority not giving a fuck. Where as in the US it's the majority not giving a fuck, and the minority self isolating? Or that's how it looks. Are all the people in the US who lost their jobs due to corona getting government benefits whilst this goes on, like the rest of the world is doing? Or the only one that isn't. If so, that would explain a lot.
if you are forcing healthy people into quarantine you are saying a big FUCK you to them based on your fears. are YOU paying THEIR bills? no? then wtf do you expect them to do? sit at home with their thumb up their ass is not for everyone .

"fact"???? you spelled "feelings" wrong. if you want FACTS then here.
(

Coronavirus Cases:

Deaths:

that is with INFLATED numbers based on nothing more than perceptions here in the US thanks to bullshit criteria from the CDC.
those numbers are GLOBALLY. WITH A population of 7.8 billion tell me what damn percentage number is that? why is it that some of you guys are more than happy to fine people who can't afford to stay at home 1000's of dollars + jail fine over your fears? what the Governors are doing is illegal IMHO.

No, it's because we don't know who's health and who's not, and we don't have enough test kits to determine such in a timely manner. People are spreading this without showing symptoms. If they're not showing symptoms, then they're probably not going to go out of their way to get tested, which we wouldn't be able to guarantee a response to anyway since we only have so many test kits available at any given moment. The only thing you can do is enforce a blanket quarantine to stymie its spread.
These are logical responses to objective problems. You're the one bringing your feelings into this.

you don't get to shit on the constitution simply because you don't know who is sick and who is not.
Renzatic on 21/4/2020 at 19:54
No one's shitting on the Constitution. You just don't understand it.
There's more to it than the Bill of Rights. You have the Federalist Papers, 250 years of case law illustrating the rare exceptions, the powers granted to the state and federal governments during emergency situations, and all other kinds of stuff that you and everyone who makes this same argument remain woefully ignorant of.
It's like watching a bunch of people who've read halfway through Genesis claim they're Bible experts.

No, these are your assumptions, your feelings, based upon a blurb made by the CDC (actually the New York Health Department) stating hospitals can count
probable deaths in the toll that you've chosen to interpret in the worst possible manner to spread a near baseless conspiracy theory.

There are these little things called GERMS and they are generally thought to be the agents of communicable disease (diseases which can be passed from one person to another). You can't see germs but they are there. This "Germ Theory" has been posited, in various forms, for about a thousand years. Because there may be a delay between infection and symptoms (or they may not display symptoms at all), people and animals can spread germs without knowing it. For this reason "healthy" people need to behave the same as infected people during a pandemic - avoid contact.
I hope this helps.
"Freedom is a double edged sword. One edge is liberty, the other is responsibility."
What you seem to misunderstand jk, is that humans are social creatures and we must balance the needs of the many with the desires of the few. I know that the USA is still struggling with its
rugged individualist past but what you and others need to understand is that in the absence of a society, a civilisation, all those lovely privileges you enjoy as a lone wolf would not exist. So sometimes you need to reduce personal liberty for the good of the greater structure which enables you to fucking live in the first place.

2
probable is not a
FACT, you guys overlook that based on your feelings on the matter.

there are this little things call BILLS, and failure to pay them means I am fucking homeless ...... that there is far scarier and deadlier than germs that have killed 176,400 people out of 7.8 BILLION.......

1 source where it says the can jail/fine you as they see fit, you are not even able to travel between your own properties in some cases.
Which they can, because this is an emergency situation, with specific guidelines in place to protect the wellbeing of the community at large.
I've already explained the criteria that our governments have to adhere to in these situations. These have been in place for a couple hundred years now. They're not null and void now that a bunch of people who don't understand how our country has worked since its inception are suddenly panicking over something that's been done dozens of times before in US history.
You could break it down as such:
- We're in the midst of a pandemic, one that can overwhelm our hospitals, and lead to a large number of deaths.
- In such situations, state governments have the right to enforce temporary strict guidelines to protect the community.
- These edicts are considered temporary laws. Breaking these laws can lead to unnecessary pain and suffering among the community at large. Therefore, people can be jailed and fined (within reason) with due cause.

It's a determination made by a doctor on site who will make this decision based upon the victims case history, and cause of death. There's a lot of localized facts being considered before making that final determination.
You're using your feelings on the matter to make it seem more vague and nebulous than it actually is.
