TRUMP is being a moron there. 30k ventilators sound like it's not enough just for NY.

It's gonna be a shit show. We're already up to 92,000 cases, and it's not expected to peak for another 2-3 weeks.

Remember that patients must stay on ventilation for 2-3
WEEKS.
Not days, weeks.
If we can't find the perfect drug to AVOID the inflammation process in the lungs that FLOODS them with blood and water.
Infection is not the priority for who has already developed the intertistial pneumonia. It's the pneumonia that kills.

Quote:
NEW ORLEANS -- Throngs of revelers may have brought the coronavirus to New Orleans during Mardi Gras celebrations here.
But the city's poverty rate, lack of healthcare and affordable housing, and high rates of residents with preexisting medical conditions may be driving its explosive growth and could make it the next U.S. epicenter of the outbreak.
The number of known coronavirus cases in Louisiana jumped to 2,305 on Thursday, an increase of 510 cases from Wednesday, and a total of 83 deaths, according to the Louisiana Department of Health. Nearly half of Louisiana's cases -- 997 -- came from New Orleans.
SHOULD have dropped a nuke in N.O. while mardi grass was going on, that way the death would be concentrated to the morons and not spread around other states as the clowns traveled back home.

People, do you know where are the testing stats for your country (test completed for every day)? Specifically: Italy, Germany, Spain, France and USA (*).
Testing provides some useful proxy data (~> how easy it is to find positives ~> how many are walking around obliviously).
Can find my own country fine - as i speak the language and every imaginable kind of stat data is in obvious centralized place with convenient stat-graphs'n'shit (with multiple formats of raw data given). Some notables... It seems that males are unjustifiably reluctant to go testing (25+ only, younger do not have any bias) ... embarrassing. Testing matches our demographic mushroom pretty well, with the only exception of a very slight dip in 0-14 range (possibly due to lack of symptoms?) and noticeable dip in 15-24 range (youth rebellion? and lack of symptoms?). The virus does not seem to have any preferences: adjusted to demographic mushroom - it looks pretty much the same~ish over all age and gender groups. With, possibly, exception in 0-4 or 0-9 group having less (lack of symptoms would explain testing participation dip and lower rate of positives - not infected or already over it at test time).
*) Thought that CDC would be an obvious place, but the data there seems to be absurd nonsense/incomplete. Too small numbers and seemingly back-recorded to initiation time (what the actual fuck is this?) with an insane lag of 4-7 days. The typical test takes 4 hours (add patch assembly and other such processing lags) - no test result should take more than 24 hours ... ever! Given lag implies that, maybe, the test employed takes ~3 days (really?) and has huge processing/transporting overhead unrelated to the testing itself.

At least they got to see some bead tiddies before they died.
