I'd go for WormBlood, because the side-effects make it useless, and Detonation, because, while it seems cool, it's not really very useful unless you really enjoy running around in circles with enemies after you, trying to get them to run into your mines.
Also, did we get Soma Transferance to not work on the Brain yet?

Unless you're willing to overhaul and balance Psi in a greater degree, you're not going to achieve much by changing the effect of one power. It will be negligable.
As for implants, I don't think there is much wrong with them, just balance them with prerequisits.

True, it's near impossible to use the psi mines 'properly'.
Brain was fixed with the oldskool DrainStim -> Abort.

Actually, I kind of like that idea. Kill a hambeast, chance of 1 in 6 that it erupts in a swarm.
