Looks like some new mods you can make to weapons. Not having tried SECMOD before, I am not sure if these were in before, but looks like at the very least, you can "Halve degradation rate."
Though, I'd be all for a mod that could justify the degradation rate to begin with, so I don't have to stick with my idea that "the rigors of FTL travel and ambient radiation leakage have had an unexpected effect on complex replicated matter such as tools and weapons."
