Ok, Soma was fixed before, brain concerning, it is fixed in AlyaMod also. You should be wary with this power cause it can easily end up incredibly overpowered, far cheaper than heal powers and with damaging effect, with a solid range.
I suggest that you redo the difficulty of the endgame: brain and shodan. I remade this allout by changing stimuli multipliers and it works great for me.
Try to avoid making Cryo/Pyro combo overly self consisting. It kind of makes OSAs just another shooter build.
TF, if you perhaps know, there are some psi powers which I found unmovable from their Tier positions:
entropy
monster radar
adrenaline
invisibility
item radar
psi hack
psi mine
If you know, for instance, how to move psi mine to another Tier please let me know. I don't mean strings etc., I can't get it working in Shocked and I know how to do it for all other powers, but it doesn't work for these.

No, Pop's was my initial inspiration. Wether he based it on yours I don't know. Wether you had the change implemented or not I don't know.
You should try. At least to even more enlarge your perspective in shocked.

I wouldn't say that people love soma that much - for me personally all three of those psi powers you listed are on the sucky side of suck, but I guess detonation slightly won out in terms of lack of desire to use it.

I`ve still yet to have a full play through using only psi powers. After SS1 the only way I ever wanted to play System Shock games was the hacking/good with weapons combo.

I wonder if it would be possible to down-power Adrenaline Overproduction?
That thing is over-powerful to the point of cheating by default. PSI x Damage. :weird:
Shard overhand + lethal weapon + adrenaline is already 120 damage for PSI 4 + overcharge, not counting weapon skill and strength bonuses. 208 points for PSI 6 + overcharge...

Yes, it is possible, I did it in AlyaMod. Go to the power description in metaproperties and there you will find it possible to change the formula. I don't have shocked by me, but if I recall correctly the formula for adrenaline is
a + b*PSI^2, where a=1, b=0,13,
and as far as I remember you can change a,b. I balanced adrenaline by modifying the formula to 1 + 0,11*PSI^2, which, coupled with other stuff I did in this part, melee weapon damages, stimuli, etc., I hope, finally made melee a challenge. I calculated how melee works in AlyaMod and included the results in the readme.
If someone is willing to test it it would be great, I haven't got to it yet, I played Heavy build (on Impossible), and am now trying Standard + Hack.

The funniest thing is that I knew Ataru Moroboshi from a Japanese cartoon I used to watch about 20 years ago or a bit more.
