Geeze. The guy died nearly three weeks ago and there's nothing in the mainstream media about it, not even a cover up.

We're supposed to believe this guy killed himself by beating himself in the head to death.
Who said that? He could have jumped off the roof and made multiple contacts on the way down. But details are strangely lacking and existing reports all seem to parrot a single source.

Well thank the lord that no one on the right ever copy pastes Fox News...

Holy Schitt! Just when you thought Trump couldn't (

“So funny to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talking about the fact that Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker was not approved by the Senate, but not mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is highly conflicted) was not approved by the Senate!”

I never knew CNN was so astute. Really. I never click that channel. I doubt anyone else here does either. What I bet is that Tony just sees CNN whenever anyone disagrees with Fox.

My favourite Trump Dump of the week was when he said "Finland doesn't have a lot of forest fires because they spend a lot of time raking the leaves".
You guys know I split my free time between playing video games and raking my 60 acres of forest, right? Had to buy a second garbage can just to store all these leaves! :U

It was in the news here. The guy can't be trusted with a single sound policy idea to save his life. Somebody posted an interview he did with a sympathetic outlet, and he couldn't spit out a policy opinion or answer the most softball questions like, what do you think about the immigration bill your admin just sent to the House this week, and all he can come back with is a few congressmen he can remember supporting it. I'm so sure he doesn't know what it actually says, despite that being his so-called signature issue.
I think what he was trying to get at here is you can help prevent and limit forest fires when you clear out brush, which is a legit thing anybody that's looked into it probably already knows. But you don't do that by raking leaves; you do it by something like managed small fires or by hiring a herd of goats to graze in overgrown areas, and California has already been doing that anyway. But whatevs... I started stopping paying attention to apparent words in the English language he'd spew out back around 2001.

Democrats widen the gap in the House:
So that's 36 seats in the House gained (with 8 more up in the air) and possibly up to 2 seats in the Senate lost. Not bad at all, considering the Democrats had the worst Senate map in a long time, having to defend 26 seats as compared to just 9 for Republicans. And for the next two elections the situation will be reversed.
Update: Republicans gained a seat in the Senate, with another one likely to go to them in Mississippi. The Mississippi seat should actually have been a sure bet, but the Republican candidate has put a foot in her mouth by joking about public hangings (the state has a history of lynching black people, more than any other state, and her opponent is black) and by musing that voting should be made a little more difficult for liberals. Hence Republicans are now pouring money into a race they never should have spent a dime on.
Meanwhile, the Democrats have picked up a net gain of 37 seats in the House. That's the biggest since Nixon, when they picked up 49 seats. Most notably, the historic Republican stronghold of Orange County was completely wiped out. There are five more seats remaining (GA-7, NY-22, NY-27, TX-23, and UT-4), all held by Republicans:
* Georgia's 7th district was won by the incumbent Republican, but since it was only by 400 votes or so, there's a recount.
* New York's 22th district looks likely to flip, with the Democrat in the lead by over 3000 votes.
* New York's 27th district will probably to go to Chris Collins (R), who's leading by a few thousand votes. He's facing an indictment for insider trading, though, so even when he wins, it doesn't look like he'll hold on to the seat for long.
* In Texas's 23th district, the incumbent has a comfortable 1000+ vote lead, but it's still too close to call.
* In Utah's 4th district, Mia Love (R) took a narrow lead, after having been pronounced dead (to him) by Lord Dampnut, but there are still more votes to count.

All the pics over the weekend of Finns vaccuuming and raking forests have been very impressive. And I see that your people even help out in places like Thailand: (
