So I think it'd be better if he has severe symptoms to send the message of how serious it is.
If he dies or is indefinitely incapacitated, then he can't be tried for what the Mueller report already effectively established as crimes in the obstruction part, and if convicted serve his full sentence, and that'd contribute to a culture of impunity in the GOP.
Assuming he really has it, he's in near to the highest risk group due to age and BMI. If he has severe symptoms and requires ventilation his chance of survival will be less than 50%.
I dislike him, dislike what he stands for. I'm slightly disturbed by the people who are happy that he has contracted a potentially fatal illness, and even more so than the people who are hoping this kills him. There are people in history I would have felt this way about, but not this buffoon.

So our Big Boy Donald now must confront the hard reality.....hope he'll learn something from this (it's nearly impossible for a narcissist but maybe, just maybe.....)

It is what it is. 208,000 people dead because of him, directly and indirectly. On top of all the other lives he's destroyed over the last four years.
I'm morbidly curious to see who SubJeff thinks is more deserving of such a karmic fate than Trump. Not that I want to actually engage with him, that's a waste of time. But his centre-right moralizing is pretty darn rich right about now.

JK Rowling? Lol

You all know how this is going to go down. It's going to be like Bolsonaro, he'll have mild symptoms or none at all, and that's just going to embolden him and his supporters to push the plandemic/hoax angle through the campaign.

Am I totally out the ballpark here or are there a lot of people who think that this is some sort of democrat hoax? If so do they really believe that the democratic party in the United States of America has somehow managed to convince the entire world to go along with a hoax just to get Trump out?

It's probably worse than you think.
Democratic politicians are not the masterminds behind the plot, they're just stooges. The virus was engineered as part of a plot by the "deep state" to bring us all to heel. There's a global network of communists who have penetrated and taken control of our governmental institutions, mainstream media, entertainment, influential corporations & charitable foundations, reserve banks. Their near term aim is to overthrow Donald Trump. Their longer term aim is to take away our freedom and guns and property and introduce a new world order. They're going to make us all subjects in a global communist state. They're going to take away everything you've worked for and give it to the pawns who support them, people who didn't work for it and don't deserve it. They want to take away our power and get rid of our culture. God will be banned. White people will be second-class citizens. You will be monitored at all times, and forced to take fake vaccines whose real purpose is to implant you with tracking devices and make you docile and unable to resist. And so on.
Last I saw, polls indicated that about 1/4 of Americans believe the pandemic was planned. A solid majority of Republicans believe that QAnon theories are partly or mostly true. About half of the country believe in at least some elements of the deep state conspiracy theories.
Worse yet, this isn't just an American thing. Belief in deep state conspiracies is common all over Europe. Even in Germany, which is very pro-EU, about 1/3 of people believe in some form of deep state conspiracy. Over there in the UK, you've got the idiots burning cell towers based on the 5G conspiracy. And plenty of people think the virus is a part of somebody's secret plan:

It's depressing, really, really depressing. Sometimes I genuinely wonder whether Western liberalism can survive social media.

Oh, we have some real nuts here. There have been recent anti mask and anti Lockdown protests in London.
David Icke's soon have anidiotic speech that was met with rapturous applause.
Initially thought the 5G thing was just people having a lark. But it's clear now that we also have our fair share of total nuts. Why I do believe some of them even frequent these forums.

You don't need to be nuts to believe that liberals worldwide are overly sensitive pussies who would blow up the importance of a minor disease that only kills the old and weak anyway (like the flu) and use that to get rid of Trump in America (and of all the other strong leaders: Bolsonaro, Erdogan, Putin, Orban). Basic group think is enough to think like that. It helps a lot that at the same time you're implicitly painting your own group as tough and brave.
I'm not saying there aren't real conspiracy nuts. But throwing every conservative in with them just pushes them to the crazies.

Looks like you are improperly attributing something to Kolya.
