What sad times we live in that people like Vae will defend him because he did not use his tiny penis to rape and instead used his tiny fingers. Yay for persecution of the press I guess.
Some nice doublespeak for sad times:
Press harrasses and rapes our loved and elected politicians with their fingers on a keyboard too, why not DESTROY it once and for all?! From the people, by the people, for the people! Smash the journalism, the real enemy of the people in unity of our glorious nation!DuatDweller on 20/12/2024 at 03:36
Jeez I feel raped by a keyboard already, and was one of those long and wide retro illuminated ones....

Definitely a good video from Cody. And he means everyone: both sides get it.

I see he's doubling down on the "You're stupid!" approach to convincing hearts and minds. Only this time, he set his sights wider. Not only are Republicans stupid, but Democrats too. And this episode is delivered with an extra helping of condescending and passive-aggressive sarcasm. If you're not in the bubble, his videos are unwatchable.

Honestly, at this point, it's not en entirely unconvincing take. It's not like people in the US didn't know what they were choosing at this point.
Tocky on 23/12/2024 at 03:11
Nothing he said was untrue. The fact that anyone thinks his videos are unwatchable is why we are fucked. I don't know if we tipped the scales for idiocracy recently or if we were always more stupid than I once thought but the fact is that we are. We are now in for extra fucking over by the rich. And we have done it to ourselves. I have lost all hope for 90% of the US being able to figure out even who is fucking them much less how.

It's smug navel gazing and faux outrage for folks in the same bubble as them. I've said this before, calling people stupid does not bring them to your side. Calling them stupid harder just tunes them out. For contrast, let me give you a podcast from the Republican side. After you have watched both, tell me which is the stupid one.

This is not a podcast that's meant to bring conservatives to the left. This is breadtube -- video essays for progressive/left leaning audience.
Also, from the vibe I'm getting there is actual, genuine frustration at the left. Nothing fake about it. If anyone's having faux outrage, it's the right with their constant culture war bullshit.

Jacobin may be super left leaning, but one thing they don't do is accuse everyone on the right of(
https://jacobin.com/2024/11/election-trump-liberals-class-racism) being a stupid irredeemable idiot:
Quote:
If you don't think that some people can be persuaded to change their vote in the future, you have no business opining about politics. Because that's what politics is. Elections aren't opportunities to count how many good and bad people exist. They aren't excuses to cut off some of your family members or high-school classmates. They are serious political contests for power, won by persuasion and turnout.
If you don't believe in the capacity of some people to change their minds, you don't believe in social change at all, because that's the only way it happens. You have no theory of change, because there is no theory of change without such persuasion. And without a theory of change, there is no politics: elections and other news become nothing more than a site of trauma, from which we must, out of self-care, protect ourselves and withdraw.

Also, if you want a sample of right-wing content, something this would be far more representative:

That masses are stupid is not a novelty, in Brazil the people voted for the convicted president Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva (he was arrested for corruption and served a time in jail).
Also another case scenario that shows that masses are stupid is the study of prices and offer, one particular brand of beer was sold in a store at cheaper price than another brand (they had the same quality) but people preferred to buy the most expensive one.
Its a simple experiment but it shows that people can't think straight and logically.
