Oh no! You should definitely NOT be quiet.
You should be in the streets, loud, and raising hell, if you're in the US.
History will remember who sat quiet without protest and who put up a fight.
Be like the South Koreans.
Edit: I'll grant I'm conflating things for narrative's sake. The camps are for undocumented immigrants and their citizen family members & citizens whose status is ambiguous to whatever untrained agent rounds them up at the time. Trans, mentally ill, and homeless get the "mental illness facilities", and Kash Patel is the one talking about going after journalists and political opposition, and the FBI deals in normal prisons. You should still be out in the streets whatever they call it.

You're assuming that the people you're talking to would be on the side to oppose Hitler, though. As history shows, there are plenty who would, if not join these kinds of movements, then at least stay on the sidelines or try to tune out (cf Russia).

If trans people are not taken to camps dema, what comedy forfeit do you offer as penitence for really, really over egging that freak-out omelette?
I suggest you have to eat 3 courses of Ika no shiokara on camera.

Donald Trump and the mysterious drones over New York, New Jersey and Trump's golf course.

Can the drones be stopped?
Several lawmakers have suggested that the drones should be shot down and analysed to determine their origin and intentions.
Among them is President-elect Donald Trump, who took to his Truth Social media platform to suggest that drones couldn't be flying without the government's knowledge.
"Let the public know, and now," he wrote. "Otherwise, shoot them down".
The US Federal Aviation Administration has also established temporary flight restrictions prohibiting drone flights over Bedminster and Picatinny.
In a statement, the FAA also warned that drone operators who conduct unsafe or dangerous operations could face fines of up to $75,000 (£59,000) and have their drone pilot certificates revoked.
In a letter to US President Joe Biden published on 13 December, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy urged federal agencies to "work together" to solve the mystery, as well as push Congress to extend counter-drone capabilities to local law enforcement.
Some residents have suggested they may take action against the drones themselves - something authorities have strongly warned against doing, as it is illegal.
"A good shotgun will fix that problem," a man commented on a video of a drone on social media.

Hey they're the ones that said they want trans people to go to mental health facilities, not me.

*** BREAKING NEWS ***
ABC agrees to pay President Trump $15 MILLION after defaming him!
George Stephanopoulos falsely stated that President Trump “raped” E Jean Carroll.
The settlement comes with an “apology” from ABC News, as well:
“ABC News and George Stephanopoulos regret statements regarding President Donald J. Trump made during an interview by George Stephanopoulos with Rep. Nancy Mace on ABC’s This Week on March 10, 2024.”

ABC backed down in a very cowardly way to avoid retaliation from the new administration.
Trump would have probably lost a defamation suit on GS using the term "rape" because Trump sued E. Jean Carroll on literally the exact same thing and the judge in that case dismissed it then. Explanation below. Nothing's changed; so it should have been dismissed now also.
This has nothing to do with the strength of Trump's case and everything to do with his threats against journalists entering a position to credibly carry them out.
(This is putting aside his entire argument is: no, no, it wasn't the technical definition of rape, just sexually penetrating a woman with his fingers without her consent. Why isn't the awfulness of that the story? And that's before you even get to the part where "rape" in its common everyday usage would include that among reasonable people.)

In his counterclaim, Trump said Carroll “made these statements knowing each of them were false or with reckless disregard for their truth or falsity”.
Dismissing the counterclaim, Judge Kaplan provided an unsparing analysis of the legal issues that informed the New York verdict. He wrote: “The only issue on which the jury did not find in Ms Carroll's favour was whether she proved that Mr Trump ‘raped' her within the narrow, technical meaning of that term in the New York penal law.
“The jury ... was instructed that it could find that Mr Trump ‘raped' Ms Carroll only if it found that he forcibly penetrated Ms Carroll's vagina with his penis.
“It could not find that he ‘raped' her if it determined that Mr Trump forcibly penetrated Ms Carroll's private sexual parts with his fingers - which commonly is considered ‘rape' in other contexts - because the New York penal law definition of rape is limited to penile penetration.”
Kaplan had already outlined why it was not defamation for Carroll to say Trump raped her.
“As the court explained in its recent decision denying Mr Trump's motion for a new trial on damages and other relief [in the New York case] ... based on all of the evidence at trial and the jury's verdict as a whole, the jury's finding that Mr Trump ‘sexually abused' Ms Carroll implicitly determined that he forcibly penetrated her digitally - in other words, that Mr Trump in fact did ‘rape' Ms Carroll as that term commonly is used and understood in contexts outside of the New York penal law.”

What sad times we live in that people like Vae will defend him because he did not use his tiny penis to rape and instead used his tiny fingers. Yay for persecution of the press I guess.

Definitely a good video from Cody. And he means everyone: both sides get it.
