Then they found out the IOC had disassociated itself from the IBA, and started talking to people in boxing and digging into the IBA. Now we know what's going on. This is Russian revenge for being banned from the Olympics, using its control over a sporting federation to discredit the Olympics and push a culture wedge. Now they feel bad and are being nice to the boxers. I hope the usual idiots like Rowling and Musk feel bad too for being obvious propaganda tools.

Most Americans don't really know anything about Russia other than they used to be communist, Putin is an authoritarian who assassinates his opponents, and they invaded Ukraine. The various propaganda tools that Russia uses to point the world away from western liberalism aren't necessarily aware they are tools.
