Gotta love the quality Hitlering from Trump and his crew:
Quote:
Trump calls political enemies ‘vermin,' echoing dictators Hitler, Mussolini
On Veterans Day, the former president vowed to “root out” his liberal opponents, drawing backlash from historians who say his rhetoric is reminiscent of authoritarians
Quote:
Steven Cheung, a Trump campaign spokesman, told The Post “those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and
their entire existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House.”
Yes, very not like Hitler and Goebbels when the spokesman says, paraphrasing "those who compare us to fascists are
vermin who will be
rooted out, and
their entire existence will be crushed, when we. return. to. ABSOLUTE. POWER".
I mean, can you try and be a bit less fascy when denying being fascy, Steven?

I mean, the current Regime are the ones already putting their opponents in jail. It's hard to care when you complain about words, when the Regime is already carrying out fascist actions.

Biden and his administration haven't put anyone in jail, or even launched investigations into any of his political opponents.

What's the over/under bet on Trump making it onto the Republican ticket and running for election even with all that's going on with him?

For sure, short of some unforeseen disaster, he's on the Republican ticket.
But to answer your question (aka "let me Google that for you"), it's 500 under, representing an 83% chance of happening.
Also worth mentioning that Trump is currently leading in polls over Biden, although I don't know what that means for the battleground states he needs to win to win, and of course polls a year in advance don't tell you all that much.

Biden is not in charge, merely a puppet. They put stuff in front of him, he signs it, then it's off to get his ice cream and watch Jeopardy. He certainly isn't making any policy decisions.
So sure, "Biden" has not launched any investigations.

I feel like the more Trump is vilified, justified or not, by the left and the more they try to convict him of just about anything the more popular he is becoming. He's not quite as legendary as the outlaw Jesse James but he's getting there. I feel that if Trump were elected again it would be like getting back together with someone after a bad breakup. Maybe that's not the best comparison but I'd rather see almost any other Republican on the ticket. Maybe someone less controversial but I'm not sure that's possible these days. It'll be an interesting election cycle though.

It's not that. Trump said it himself when he said he could kill someone and not lose popularity. Trump stokes the fears of white people about brown people. That's it. That's all he needs to do for them to defend any heinous thing he does. He can wrap himself in old glory and wave a cross and they will bow down to him because he will fight the criminal brown people and make sure there are crosses to burn in the US. Forced religious dogma for everyone!
That will make white people feel safe as they cower behind AR 15's.
Also the only halfway decent Republicans are the ones already voted out of office for not bowing down to Trump, or worse, telling the truth about him. Democrats will gladly give them Manchin to run if they want. He can swap to the party he actually always has been that way.
