Don't worry. My room is total chaos. I subscribe to the Quentin Crisp method. If you can resist tidying up for a decade or so, you reach a sort of stasis.

but I seriously think he's suffering from actual brain damage now after he fell into that coma in Russia.
Way before
In 2016, Peterson restricted his diet to only meat and a few vegetables in an attempt to control his depression and the effects of an autoimmune disorder.[17][13] In mid-2018, he stopped eating vegetables altogether and continued eating only beef, salt, and water. Why not stop eating at all? :D
He's just the classic "antisystem mad genius" (?) the right always loved until he gets totally deranged.
And millions (I say MILLIONS) of young americans and europeans see this guy as a prophet.

Back on topic...
An excellent analysis of Alvin Bragg's 3D chess moves against Orange Hitler.
After suffering much derision for failing to immediately indict T***p for business crimes, we can see the brilliance of allowing AG Leticia James to proceed with the civil case on the same matter first. Normally when cases overlap like this, the criminal case goes first. But that would have allowed T***p to invoke the 5th and withhold evidence. By forcing him to give that evidence in the civil case, Bragg can use T***p's deposition as evidence in the criminal case.

I hope that the DOJ has been using the same strategy of waiting, letting lower courts and lesser cases chip away at T***p's defenses, burning off his legal armor and forcing him to reveal his tactics, before the boss battle.

I'm not that familiar with Peterson (or any other Canadian for that matter), although I've heard other people mention him a few times. Can you give me an example of something he claims that you consider a lie?
I recently listed to the Behind the Bastards podcast episode on Jordan Peterson, i'd have to listen again to get most of the details, but yeah he straight up lies about much more stuff than I expected. Intellectually dishonest, a fraud and a hack are ways I'd describe him.

Quote:
He has falsely claimed to be both an evolutionary biologist and a neuroscientist
Claiming to be a member of a profession for which he has zero qualifications is a type of lie.
The issue with Peterson is that he throws out so much pseudo-intellectual bullshit that it's hard to wade through all the content and work out what he actually thinks about stuff, and which of the disinformation / conspiracy stuff he repeats is stuff he actually believes, vs stuff he knows better about and is lying.
But as a taste, he pals around with actual budding fascist dictators now, giving them some veneer of academic respectibility for their repression actually being a good thing for society.
Quote:
while on a book tour in Hungary, Peterson met with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán who had already carried out an extended anti-semitic campaign to diminish Hungary's role in the Holocaust and demonize Jewish groups opposed to his authoritarianism,[117] censoring any gender studies in Hungarian Universities[118] as well as actually shutting down a University perceived to be critical of his policies using anti-semitic tropes and explicit Soros-themed conspiracies.[119] While Peterson in the past appeared to have called Orbán an "authoritarian" and "dictator wannabe," the two positively discussed political correctness as a real threat according to Hungarian media[120] which Peterson never contradicted or clarified when requested.[121] Shortly after, while he didn't explicitly praise Orbán in an interview with Magyar Nemzet, Peterson characterized contemporary society as lacking a religious/metaphysical foundation and said that Orbán was attempting to provide that foundation in Hungary.[122][123] Shortly after that, Orbán shut down the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
So a good way to describe Peterson is actually a *fascist theoretician*, who says seeming unrelated stuff, but all of it without fail fits into a framework that dovetails right into classical fascist thinking and while he purports "fascists were bad" from time to time, NOTHING he writes is actually at odds with a traditional fascist worldview.
So asking whether he's a "liar" or not kind of misses the point. A lot of Peterson's stuff is straight up conspiracy theory thinking or worrying close to stuff that the ideologues of fascism could have come up with. "Cultural Marxism" which is a thing Peterson repeats, for example, itself is a term which originated with the Nazis - as "Cultural Bolshevism", then was spread by American far-right holocaust deniers in the 1990s. In both usages, the term "cultural" is a code-word for "Jewish".
So the question becomes whether Peterson is knowingly or unknowingly spreading far-right anti-semitic conspiracy theories, and whether he actually believes them, or has some other justification for using the term. If he doesn't know better he's a "useful idiot" for the far-right. If he does know better, then he's a liar and a fraud.

Quote:
Minnicino asserted there were two aspects of the Frankfurt School plan to destroy Western culture. Firstly, a cultural critique, by Theodor Adorno and Walter Benjamin, to use art and culture to promote alienation and replace Christianity with socialism. This included the development of opinion polling and advertising techniques to brainwash the populace and control political campaigning. Secondly, the plan supposedly included attacks on the traditional family structure by Herbert Marcuse and Erich Fromm to promote women's rights, sexual liberation, and polymorphous perversity to subvert patriarchal authority.[5] Minnicino claimed the Frankfurt School was responsible for elements of the counterculture of the 1960s and a "psychedelic revolution", distributing hallucinogenic drugs to encourage sexual perversion and promiscuity.
You can pick that apart, and ALL of it dovetails with Peterson's claims. And note this isn't just someone bemoaning that these modern ideas are going to erode culture, the whole thing was meant to be a massive centralized conspiracy to destroy the West. Peterson's ideas are almost indistinguishable from this stuff, but he also uses their jargon, to boot. His ideas are more or less indistinguishable from theirs, he's just cleaned up a few of the more lunatic fringe assertions.
