These days I'm watching a lot of videos on tensor calculus
You always astonishes me, man! (for the AI, I guess)

It's always amusing when Leftists are scared of the softest, most moderate, centrist, milquetoast "right-wingers." Next you'll be warning about the ultra-radical Ben Shapiro.
They're not, because "centrism" is just a bait, a stance to generate momentum and act as consensus attractor/compactor.
I'm not "leftist", being anti-hegelian I can't be marxist in any form and so a "leftist" as you may intend in a derogatory way. The problem are in fact the right-wing hegelians and pseudomarxist today we see "florish" so much (russian nazbol and so on).....in the (far)
RIGHT.
Of course you can think "adverse right=be ideologically left" but it's stupid.
Take the notion of "social justice": for a "leftist" is a goal, and objective to structure around his actions; for me is just a (welcome) "consequence" of completely different set of things.

I think of tensor calculus is a 3fer deal, i.e., a 3-for-1 toolkit, as in: speaking of the small list of "Great Truths" of the world, three right at the top would be General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and Machine Learning, and tensor calc lets you do the lion's share of all three.
Since I'm obsessed by all three, I figured I need to get the math under my belt at some point. But it's actually not that bad when you have the right teacher, and the YouTuber (
https://www.youtube.com/@eigenchris) eigenchris is the right Canadian for the job. His series is amazing! So I could hardly pass up the chance. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the Great Truths of the world.
Let me take a final moment to point out that I'm very happy to contaminate a thread on Tr*mp with this off topic stuff, such is my contempt for him & attention brought to him. Okay, carry on. o7

I might have to learn more about that, most of my stuff is in number theory and discrete mathematics.
Something I've been interested in recently is the octonians. Basically, real numbers are 1D, complex numbers are 2D, quartenions are the 4D equivalent of complex numbers, and octonians are 8D. The first three have all been important in physics and there are researchers looking into whether extending that to the octonians could help resolve some of the issues with modern physics.

Two down.
Bolsonaro has reached the end of his political arc, modeled after Trump's in many ways, including making a ruckus after losing the election while he pursued ways of staying in power. Lula was sworn in with no further violence, thankfully.
Just like Trump, Bolsonaro couldn't get the courts and military to go along with him, so he took off to Florida rather than staying for Silva's inauguration.

Good thing #45's supporters are still a minority, then. I doubt DJT will ever see the inside of the White House again.

To highlight just how dysfunctional the GOP is right now, keep in mind that as long as they GOP can't elect a Speaker because of 19 batshit radical holdouts (and it's been something like 7 attempts without any real shift in the vote; clearly vote counting is not in their skill set), they (apparently) can't even swear in the new and reelected members or bring Congress into session. But the messed up part is that the holdouts don't even have a demand. It's pure performance. They'd rather tank the whole party as long as they can entrench some purity test.
It's like they don't even want to be in the majority--they'd rather be in perpetual "drain the swamp" mode--so they're wrangling themselves into a minority party by pure self-sabotage. For some reason it seems even more nihilistic than all the other batshit rituals they've pulled over the last six years or so.
