Also, I think Perot took votes from both parties fairly equally. IIRC the only state where Clinton had 50% of the vote was Arkansas. Perot was 5% above his national average in California and right around it in New York.

LOL. They totally ignore that Georgia counted it's votes three times. Even if a suitcase full of votes (yeah right) had been counted twice in the first count the other two would have caught that. It did not.

My question is why would there be a Trump cult over seas? What would they get out of it?

The main group opposing lockdown and other Covid measures in Germany calls themselves "Querdenker" (lateral thinkers). "Querdenken 711" is their chapter in Stuttgart (whose telephone code is 0711).
Querdenker are a very diverse group from frightened and misinformed normal citizens to esoterics, entitled assholes, conspiracy nuts and right wing activists down to full blown Nazis. From what I know Qanon followers have a relatively small but growing part in this so far.

Personally I would be surprised if the whole satanic pedophile story worked in Germany for a significant number of people. It needs to be translated into something that resembles the fears of people here more closely. I'm sure there are people working on this, but it's definitely a problem for their international cohesion.
