One gathers evidence by means of investigation, you short-sighted fool.
And one should only investigate when there's compelling reason to do so, you whimpering simp.
Trump has been claiming the election is rigged against him since 2016. In the 4 years since, neither he, nor any of his supporters have been able to provide evidence of such, despite efforts to do so. Every initiative he's launched to expose such has turned up nothing. No evidence of widespread fraud capable of tipping an election. No evidence of illegals voting en masse. It's all baseless claims and publicly aired suppositions.
Thusly, there's no compelling reason to investigate instances of voter fraud beyond Trump's accusations of such, and Trump's accusations, by themselves, aren't worth shit.

You should really stop responding to Vae. He's a sub-4chan troll desperate for attention. I doubt he means half of what he posts, he's just after a reaction.

This highlights one of the biggest problems with humanity.
The "no smoke without fire" fallacy - that if you repeat a lie enough times, eventually people will think that there must be some truth to it, even if there isn't.
I see this constantly lately, all across the world. Brexit in the UK. The smearing of Corbyn, Sanders, O'Gorman (Ireland-specific, no one will know who this is).
The anti-maskers.
People claim something which is obviously a lie, but repeat it so often until people start to wonder "Hey, everyone keeps repeating it, maybe there's some truth to it?"
And then those people can't be bothered to look up the actual original information to see if it's true or not, because they're "not interested in politics."

Any previous claims to any specific instances in the past are irrelevant, or at least incomplete for the situation at hand. Evidence for the recent electoral process would require a fresh investigation to discover what is true and what is not.

There are legal challenges on the table already and there will be more. If they have legal standing and a reasonable basis (e.g. some preliminary evidence), they should proceed. If they are baseless, they should not. There may be some judge or court exposed as partisan during the process, but in the end I think it will be a fair counting. I'm also confident that the losing side won't be satisfied with the outcome no matter how accurate the counting is. Democrats were butthurt for 8 years after the 2000 election even though the recounts plus an in-depth post-election investigation confirmed Bush won. The aftermath of this election is going to be just as bad or worse. Threats to send in federal law enforcement agents to interfere with the counting process are just an empty attempt at intimidation.

Even if Biden gets to be president, this can hardly be called a win as long as the country is divided by hatred (and full of private weapons).
What are the plans to re-unite the US? Are there any that involve more than hoping the other side will realize their errors?

So making broad claims that the process is rife with fraud is enough in itself to justify an investigation?
How many children have you molested, Vae?

I'm not sure if this can even be fixed, depressing as that is.
The only way to actually fix it would be to start to educate people - the next generation of people - to think about things critically and actually learn how to tell fact from fiction, how to recognise demagogues (no, not you dema!), and that it's important to call out wrongdoing even if it's by those you look up to.
But I can't see anyone - from either side - wanting to actually fix their education system to do any of those things. They'd rather continue to brainwash children by forcing them to swear allegiance to a flag, regardless of what might be done in its name.
