I've been wondering the same. But then again, a lot of things that Trump says don't make much sense. He just tweets something insane and his cult buys it all without questioning any of it. And yes, I honestly can't understand either how the hell that even works, but it works so well that it's really quite depressing.

It's quite simple. Trump wants to stop the count in the states where he's just ahead, and wants to continue the counting in the states where he's just lagging behind. Any explanations for the reasoning of such are self serving justifications that change depending upon the situation.

It's been hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that he'll say and do literally anything to further his interests. It doesn't matter how brazen the lie or how inconsistent with what he said yesterday; if he thinks it'll work in his advantage he does it.
I'm increasingly certain that this won't end without violence. There is no level to which he will not stoop in order to maintain power, and his followers support him unquestioningly.

What I don't understand is:
An election is underway.
Not all votes have been counted yet.
Someone demands to stop the counting of votes before it is complete.
Regardless of politics, what possible justification can anyone give for the above scenario?
People like Vae genuinely believe that election workers in various areas are manufacturing Biden ballots and disposing Trump ballots until a Biden outcome is achieved. They believe there is systemic fraud happening all over right now. They believe it because their President, their news sources, their social network, and their peers on internet forums have been preparing them for the last 4 years to believe it will happen. And now they're being told it is happening, and they just
know that it is. It's part of their faith now, they don't question it, they don't need evidence.
We've been talking about the effects of propaganda, information bubbles, conspiracy theories, and extreme partisanship for years. Seeing people react like this should not surprise anyone.

Any sums it up. Really.
I live that video from the White House where he says he's won and that sad people are stealing the election.

To be clear, I believe it is
possible, and is worth investigating...unlike a closed-minded partisan, who automatically believes it to be true, or dismisses it outright.

A healthy dash of cognitive dissonance too. Believing in a grand conspiracy is preferable to believing that your spray tan idol is somehow not a winner.

Anything is possible.
But if you have no evidence other than your idiot echo chamber Trumpites...

One gathers evidence by means of investigation, you short-sighted fool.

A moment ago you were fantasizing about Trump calling up the citizen militia. Starting a civil war over Trump's deluded tweets isn't investigation, that's just sabotaging your country. Maybe even treason, since you like to be so dramatic. :p
