Ich weiß nicht wer gewinnt, aber ich wünsche beiden viel Glück.

I don't think politicians are generally all that strong on empathy in general.
No doubt but some of them do a very good impression!
Is that fence round the White House to keep protesters out or to stop Trump being evicted if he loses?
I've been up since 4 so I'm off. Wisconsin's just been called and, typical Trump antics, a recount is being asked for.

It's close enough I'd want a recount there too. It's pretty unlikely they're going to pull 20,000+ Trump votes out of the air anyway.

I just heard that CNN called Michigan for Biden. Anyone confirm?
Edit: I checked, it's just a projection, not 100% certain.

Michigan and North Carolina are over. Trump has a slim lead in Georgia but the trend indicates it's going to be close. Biden has a very slim lead in Nevada, and they won't be reporting again until tomorrow. Trump needs both plus PA to win. PA is up to 85.8% reporting (estimated) and Biden needs 69% of the remaining votes to win. If the trend continues, it looks like a narrow victory there for Biden. So it looks very likely that Biden will be winning based on the initial vote count, but then we'll have to wait for the challenges to play out.

That's it.
Biden will win.
Phew.
Everyone take a breath.

If Biden lead holds 36% of the forum was wrong about 2 terms. People on the forum that voted 1 term 18.67 % + 1st Term Impeachment 33.33 % = 52% :D This formula uses the new math :) Which means our forum is highly intelligent.
1 Term (4 Years)
28 18.67%
2 Terms (8 Years)
54 36.00%
1st Term Impeachment/Assassination
50 33.33%
2nd Term Impeachment/Assassination
4 2.67%
I don't know what's going on!
14 9.33%

I didn't know what was going on! Looks like 52% got 1 term and 1st term impeachment, that's not too shabby. This forum's got a good...you know.

Someone said (on the BBC) "it's hard to beat the incumbent president". And that is true. Reagan, Bill Clinton, Baby Bush, Obama all sat for 8 years. Only papa Bush failed. It is remarkable Biden kicks out Drumpf after 4 years.

It appears that this election will, in addition to the voters, be decided by the US Supreme Court, due to irregularities in PA, WI, and other Democrat controlled states.
A close election, with dubious results, regardless of final tally or legal decision, was the worst possible outcome for the United States.
There will be no civil resolve, and conflict will escalate.
