Today is the beginning of the end.
I can feel it.
THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF 2020 !!

Everyone still seems all apprehensive and fearful of the outcome of this election, and I'm over here making some popcorn for the meltdown-in-chief. The next few weeks are going to be amazing.

A polling error in Arizona has thrown it back into the game, opening it up for a potential Trump victory.
This election is nowhere near over, and the odds do favor Trump at the moment. It's more likely he'll win, either through a straight EC victory, or a court victory, since the margins are narrow enough to successfully argue.

Looks like over 30% of people didn't vote at all.
Come on people, what are you about?
Jason Moyer on 4/11/2020 at 16:36
Biden will win with or without AZ. And Trump can't just decide to take something to the Supreme Court (I don't even know what his case would be?), it's up to the states who (thankfully) are likely managed by people who have more respect for democracy than he does.

I'm pretty sure the record since 1900 for national voter turnout is a little over 70%, so 70% is pretty good really.

Still.
It amazes me how many people can't be bothered to vote.
Woooeeee. This is a close one.

Yeah, they said that the turnout is one of the highest since 1900, but it's still a bit sadly low when their very democracy is at stake.

Well let's not forget, there's a pandemic to take into account I suppose... I reckon 70% is pretty swell, all things considered.
While I might not agree with the other side, that so many people across the board actually took the trouble to go out and vote, or mailed it in, or used whatever other means at their disposal to exercise this right, is actually pretty nice to see. It's very bitter that the result is... whatever's going on now.
