Another aspect to it is China. China is a fascist country. They've seen us selling ourselves to China for the last 20 years, and are legitimately concerned about being pulled into a new China-dominated world order.
Then why did they applaud withdrawing from the TPP, which was specifically created to counter China?

30-40% of the country think Obama and Clinton were communists, so pointing to them wouldn't help things.

They saw it as committing the US to continuing unbalanced trade relationships with the rest of Asia that have caused us to move so much production over there.
They didn't necessarily understand how it would counter China because China wasn't a part of it. It's a very simple view of things in which the only way to compete with cheaper Asian labor is protectionism.

In addition to Nevada and Wisconsin, now Biden has taken the lead in Michigan. If the trend holds, he has it in the bag.

I see the dickhead is already talking about vote fraud while declaring himself winner.
Classy.

Same thing happened in 2016 when he declared the election to be fraudelent when it was looking like Clinton would win. Seems he has a penchant for premature... er... outbursts.

Aaaaand....the area around Detroit counted 8% of the 40-ish they have left to go, and it moved things from -0.5% to +0.1% in favor of Biden. If he holds on to every state he's currently leading, he'd have 271 votes without PA, GA, or NC.
Starker on 4/11/2020 at 14:18
270, surely?

I dunno. BBC has him at 224, the 5 uncalled states he's currently leading would be another 47 I think? Anyway, things aren't looking good for the Trumpster fire. I still think he's going to win PA/GA and maybe even NC when the counting's done.
Edit: You're right, BBC doesn't have the separate single ME vote that Trump's probably going to win as a separate thing.

Biden should pull away in Michigan
And Trump's chances of winning Wisconsin are getting very slim
Same for Biden's chances in North Carolina
So I'm still looking at Georgia and especially Nevada. If Biden can win either state, then PA doesn't matter.
