Yes, the richest man in the world is an inconsequential nobody... you can tell stories like these to your grandmother -- maybe she'll believe you.
Qaddafi was pretty well-to-do. Look where it got him.
Money doesn't grant cowardly old men invulnerability powers. The guy does only so much evil shit as others let him get away with, because he's just a bully. Punish him for a change.

Putin isn't powerful because he's rich, it's the other way around. Also, even with Putin out of the picture nothing is going to fundamentally change as long as Russia is dependent on oil and gas -- there will always be a corrupt clique of oligarchs latched to these industries running the show.

This one seems better at distilling Trump than usual.

For what it’s worth, the Sully ad is probably my favourite of the Lincoln project ads. For those who haven’t seen it:

I genuinely can’t and won’t make a prediction, I just hope there is not too much chaos and bloodshed to come.
Will the politics of fear and resentment win again? The world watches..

rise of Marxist ideology
There's no more marxism, since 1920 and the death of Lenin.
"Marxism" is a strawman.

A really popular strawman, used throughout the world in an attempt to discredit anyone even slightly to the left of whatever position the speaker holds.
But the USA really gets the award for having turned the concept of anything even slightly social-minded into their worst of evils.
They'll happily claim to be proud Christians, while at the same time actively fighting against the concept of helping those less well-off than themselves, and yet they never see the hypocrisy of this.

proud Christians
A real christian can be proud only in Jesus following (a *PERSONAL* following as an individual out of any mundane party dynamics) and nothing more.
That's a christian, not a fanatic fundamentalist who wants to democratically force the society to follow his believes.
You can't save (if you believe in "Salvation" ) the others with anything but your *PERSONAL* witness.
Those are the bases of Christianity, but I think the USA are full of christian
OIDs more the christians.
Of course these 'murican :D christian guys see the Christianity as an ideological, totalitarian, way to organize the human society ('cause it's the WILL OF GOD!!111 BEHOLD!!1111), such it happens in Islam.

https://i.imgur.com/5M08oau.jpgThere was this one video where a man was assaulted by police and when it became clear that he had done nothing wrong and his background check turned up nothing either, the officers suddenly became super friendly with him and offered to call him an ambulance, but the man refused and said he was okay, despite clearly being in a lot of pain. I was very confused by this until I learned that ambulances in the US are in fact not free and a ride can cost more than a thousand dollars, which is why injured people sometimes plead with people not to call one.
