Homosexuals having rights of course. But that was never the issue. That dude donated to a group years ago, based on his religious beliefs I believe - which I don't agree with but I at least understand that type of wrong-thinking compulsion - and was hounded years later when it appeared he'd changed his views.

Gentrification happens in the UK too you know? There are parts of London where this had caused issues. There was a breakfast shop, the most hipster of places (you'd probably love it) that was vandalised in the name of anti-gentrification a few years ago.
You don't have to be white to cause gentrification. The wealthiest people on my street are asian, for example. And even if you are what's the chances you're going "hold up! Am I too rich and white to buy this house I want for myself and my pregnant wife? Will I gentrify the area? Oh whoa is me!". No one thinks like that! But there have been BLM protesters shouting at white people's home in the USA for this reason. I mean, some of those people must have been terrified thinking "wtf did I do? the estate agent found this, I liked it, I bought it, I support the local stores, and now a bunch of left wing nutjobs are in the street shouting up at me keeping my 6 month old awake?! I voted for Hilary goddamn it!". And now you got a new Trump voter and who honestly at that point could blame them?
