Trump has now been sent to the hospital. So much for "mild symptoms".

Could still be precautionary.
What a trainwreck it'll be if he gets really ill, or worse - dies!
Fingers crossed he does okay.

Well, that's what they're saying. There's video of him walking to the chopper. Honestly, the disease usually takes a while to get serious, anyway. In two weeks we'll have a much better idea of how he's faring.

I hope he gets well soon so he can be crushed in the election and can spend the rest of his life in court or jail or both.

I don't think he'll die. My first thought was: anti-bodies in plasma, acquired from recovered patients.
Early on, in the spring, we were told that during the Spanish Flue, doctors gathered blood-plasma from recovered patients, and used the anti-bodies in that plasma to treat patients. It worked. Before we had vaccines, this was the best method to fight against viruses. However, it's expensive. And early on we didn't have a lot of recovered patients. And the worst thing: most recovered patients seem to have a very small amount of anti-bodies. I guess all these factors make it impractical to use this strategy for large scale medication.
There's only enough of these anti-bodies harvested for small amounts of people. So I guess rich people, republican politicians, etc, have access to it. I have always assumed it was one reason that Trump wasn't afraid of covid-19. He knows there is a cure for him. Hypocritical arsehole.
On the other hand, Trump is part of 3 groups with higher risk of getting very ill, or even dying: 1) old man, 2) obese, 3) low-income.

And suffering from a 3rd degree burn.

He clearly wanted to be president for the rest of his life, so dying early is one way. :D
Step 1: Borrow hundreds of millions of dollars.
Step 2: Blow it on lavish "consulting" fees to your kids.
Step 3: Die.
