In other news, looks like Lord Dampnut will finally start taking the pandemic more seriously...
Indeed, many in the press were quite tickled to see Trump's new tone, taking command of the situation and adopting a science first approach...

Well, that was a waste of 20 minutes. Two idiots running around on an island while giggling and patting themselves on the back and regurgitating info from the oh so untrustworthy mainstream media.

Not sure how directly relevant to this thread this is but I'll let y'all decide.

The Crazy starts around the 1:20 mark - then gets crazier at 2:20.
And don't forget to dip your toes in the comments.
I mean, I know it's trollery but the base takes it seriously. It's a test to see how crazy they can go and the answer seems to be, there is no limit.
This dipshit, who has has been anti-mask from the beginning, just tested positive for the coronavirus at the White House, then went back to his Congressional office, where he announced it during a TV interview without a mask on. And instead of quarantining himself in his Washington D.C. residence, he's going to travel back to Texas to quarantine himself there. And only for 10 days. These guys are not thinkers.

John Oliver did a segment on the Uighurs (and spoiled the plot of The Minority Report, so you might want to skip from 8:50 to 9:55, if you still haven't seen it and want to):

The biggest update linking the Epstein affair and Trump I thought was the apparently little-noticed (
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8548211/Royal-insider-says-Epstein-secret-video-Prince-Andrew.html) story about Tiffany Doe, Epstein's alleged party planner from the 1990s, recently recalling having seen some raunchy video about Prince Andrew sometime in the late '90s or 2000. That by itself isn't much. The rape allegations against him are already old news. The important part for Trump's case is that Tiffany Doe was the one that made a sworn witness statement for the statutory rape (
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3894806/Woman-alleged-raped-Donald-Trump-13-Jeffrey-Epstein-sex-party-DROPS-case-casting-doubt-truth-claims.html) allegations against Trump for events in 1994, which were made as part of Katie Johnson's later-dropped case in 2016 (the details of which by the way are still shocking, even by Trump standards, and so depressingly in character. "Katie" later dropped the case out of understandable fear for her life after the threats elevated to her car and phone being stolen.)
What's significant about the Prince Andrew story is that it got picked up by the international media almost immediately--granted usually by the more yellow rags, but still, it gave a lot of personal facts about Tiffany, her age, her employment history, her history with Epstein, and her assistance to the lawyers for victims in the Maxwell case, etc.
That didn't happen in 2016 when she vouched for the claims about Trump, if you read around the stories then, because she didn't give any information about herself as a real person or any reason to believe she was really Epstein's staff. The point now is that, especially if the Maxwell case goes to court, the more credible her statements become about what happened in Epstein's world in the 1990s, the harder it's going to be to dismiss her & Katie's allegations against Trump (which include at least two other underage girls, Maria, and "the other Jane Doe"). If she's already risking her life for all of these other less-disputed victims in the Maxwell case, and other statements of hers about other people start getting verified, it's a tougher sell that they told the truth about everyone else but not the allegations against Trump. I mean a good lawyer is still going to attack her credibility and there's still fodder to work with because of his position and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, etc. But once the germ gets into the public's mind that she really was Epstein's staff, that's the biggest threat against Trump on the horizon that I see.
This is before we even get to the teen beauty pageants and Trump Model Management trafficking in 14 year Russian old girls, although that doesn't have any apparent path to any viable claims, but it's all part of that world.
Edit: Oh shit and I left out the other tidbit from that latest story. Tiffany said they took videos of everything and (in another place) that that's basically how Epstein made his fortune. It's just now occurring to me that Maxwell may not have considered the option to turn in at least any videos on Trump during his administration because they'd surely get disappeared with Barr as AG, and you can't just leak them to the public like you could a normal sex video.

My guess is that she keeps her mouth shut. I doubt the prosecutors will want to make a plea bargain unless she can offer up hard evidence they can use against a big fish for a crime bigger than sex trafficking. All these accusations from the 1990s are well past the statute of limitations except sex trafficking, which doesn't have a statute of limitations at the federal level. Besides, who's the bigger criminal, the party guest who has sex with an underage girl, or the person doing the underage sex trafficking? They probably already have their biggest target.
