Yeah, I think a lot of the Democratic candidates potentially got a big boost to their future careers -- Warren, Buttigieg, Klobuchar. Even Bernie seems to have shifted US opinion to be much more favourable to his policies. If he's still in politics after 4 years and decides to run again, things might turn out quite different when it's not going to be about defeating Lord Dampnut.

I should say it's what happened once things were down to the two frontrunners. It was obvious the DNC wanted Hillary as its candidate, and went to great lengths to winnow the field in her favor. They only scheduled two debates, and let the strength of her name bolster her chances in the polls. Then Bernie popped up practically out of nowhere, grabbing a strong early lead, and from there, things followed about the same pattern as what we're seeing now, though with more drama.

I expect Bernie to bow out before the next contest. As much as I hate it when candidates just up and quit, it's the right thing to do, because it will allow the remaining primaries to be cancelled to reduce COVID-19 spread.
The general election is suddenly wildly unpredictable. Trump did a lot of damage to himself in the first month of the COVID-19 response, but he still has plenty of time to re-establish himself as a credible crisis leader *if* he's capable of it (doubtful...). If so, then it will be down to who voters think are better able to get us out of a recession.

As I've previously mentioned, Bernie never had a chance due to his non-viability. He was only there as an appeal to ideological fantasies of the far-left.

The perception of "Trump doing a lot of damage to himself in the first month of the COVID-19 response", is a left-wing perspective, fueled by propaganda outlets such as CNN and MSNBC. It has only given false hope that they have a chance with Biden...in which they do not.
Head-to-head, Trump will win.

And the idea that he's doing a great job, showing true leadership and resolve during this crisis is a fantasy for people like you to cling onto, bolstered by the propaganda outlets that you happen to listen to.
You don't even have to watch opinion pieces to see what kind of job he's doing. Just read his tweets, watch him during his various addresses. It's obvious he's in over his head, and is flailing about trying to blame anyone but himself for what's going on.

I interpret the Democrat nomination of Biden as a return to normalcy. Bernie left wing and Trump right wing. Bernie wave collapsed with coroviavirus emergency. The other thing that will cause trump to lose will be the fact his administration fired Obama's Pandemic White House Team in 2018.

There are no "people like me"...even though you would like to think that, in order to character assassinate via association. It is a pathetic, petty ploy, that is ineffectual.
Even though there are both left-wing and right-wing propaganda outlets, my determinations are based on my own calculations...and you will see that, come November.

Note that Vae talks about "the perception of".
This is the difference. No matter what Trump does, Fox News, Breitbart, other alt-right media and facebook-memes, will explain to their viewers what a great job Trump did. What a great job he is doing right now. And that Murica is the bestest country in the world. And they, the greatest voters in the world are all winners, because they voted the greatest President of all time anywhere in the world, into the White House. And their viewers will love it. Regardless of what the truth is, the perception of half of the Americans is that Trump is the best, no matter what.
You should realize that you live in a country where the fascists have a firm grip on your democracy, through channels like Fox News and Breitbart. Reality is a lot less important now.

I disagree that CNN and MSNBC are propaganda outlets. They are not. They are old-fashioned, right-wing, capitalistic companies that want to make money. They might support the establishment (because that is always the safe thing to do). But they are not doing any propaganda. If you wanna see propaganda, just watch Fox News for a day. That's propaganda.
I'll give you guys an example of perception versus reality.
Suppose Trump decided that best solution against covid-19 would be to throw a few nuclear bombs on SF, NYC and LA.
Suppose he bombs those 3 cities and kills 20 million American citizen.
The next day Fox News and Breitbart and all the alt-right media will be jumping up and down to explain how Trump saved the nation.
And half the Americans will eat that perception. And they'll think Trump is the best President ever. He just saved America !
And over half the nation will vote Trump. Trump will win.
Perception > reality.

And yet you repeat literally every single talking point spread about by the Trump fanatics, use their same turns of phrases, make the same accusations. Pardon me for assuming you're one of the clones.
