Or maybe it was just a regular police killing that occasionally happens in the US when a bunch of trigger happy cops in military gear invade someone's home at night.

Or that.

I mean, it could also be that he had smoked pot at any time in his life or maybe he was wearing a hood or maybe he was standing or lying in a threatening way or whatever the excuses are that usually get brought up in circumstances like these.

They probably felt threatened.

Just watched the Democratic debate: (

I don't really know a lot about Biden other than him being the vice president of Obama and voting for the Iraq War, but he has been in politics for a long long time and should therefore be dragging lots and lots of skeletons behind him. It was therefore all the more surprising to see Bernie go easy on him, especially since Biden is both ahead in the polls as well as leading on the delegates currently. From what I've gathered listening to some of the left wing pundits like Michael Moore, they really expected Biden to fold because of mental issues (which they constantly keep bringing up), but he was going strong for full 2 hours with only a couple of gaffes where he said the wrong word and immediately corrected himself. I guess maybe that led Bernie to underestimate him? In any case, I thought Biden put up much more of a show than Bernie, leaving aside the substance of what was being said.

I think the biggest shame here is that some of us actually expected better from that bunch.
It wasn't shameful to hope a new administration would work out better than we figured it might... at least for awhile... like a couple of weeks?
What's shameful is thinking it has worked out great ever since then and getting so much better day by day.
What will happen to the MAGA hat rally crowd during periods of shelter-in-place in the USA I wonder.
