Not holding much hope for November, but come on USA, prove me wrong.

We're currently enjoying the lowest level we've paid in taxes since 1933, which is roughly half of what we paid in the 50's and 60's. Corporations are currently paying the lowest they've ever paid. Quit whining.

IT'S All bullshit, come tax day the bill will be due, they are taking less away so we spend and prop up the economy and when you file you will be fucked like many who did not adjust their with-holdings.

You have to pay taxes because taxes get you things private business does not care about in the slightest, like cheaper food and medicine. If not for a government supported by taxes, every business will try to pry as much money from you as they can possibly get and they will create cartels and artificial scarcity to drive the prices up on things you need. You'll be paying way more than the taxes you pay now simply for everyday needs and necessities. And if there is not a government powerful enough to hold the monopoly on legitimate violence, there will be plenty others who will try to rule by force. If you're unsatisfied with the taxes you have to pay to your government, just wait until you see the taxes you'll have to pay to your local lord.

See what happens when you use your words instead of your anger, JK?
jkcerda on 4/2/2020 at 00:04
who the hell said I was NOT angry? I would LOVE to try UHC, but we are so fucking corrupt that we can't and it's BOTH sides that are on the fucking payroll of the insurance & pharma industry pockets.

So your solution is to give more power to these corporations and industries who created the problems in the first place?
I don't see anyone other than Democrats trying to change any of that, imperfect as they may be. Who created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and tried to at least make some of the banks responsible for the financial crisis accountable? It was certainly not the Republicans and certainly not the current administration who has worked hard to hobble the CFPB and who let off easy the banks Obama's administration tried to prosecute and fine at least a little bit. Democrats are proposing taxes to wealthy and the corporations, Republicans give them massive tax cuts.
Universal health care? You'd already have it by now if it wasn't for Republicans. Homelessness? Yeah, let's cut social security and Medicaid, lets see if that's the solution to the problem.
