I think the sadder part for me is that I recognise every single reference.

Trump? The same one you'd vote for?
But tell us how much better things would be under Libertarian... can I say... rule? I know that feudalism is a very stable societal structure but would that be an improvement?
Asking for a friend.
Careful you don't get barrel splinters under your nails, jk.
rest assured that libertarians will NEVER be in power, we do wan't to take over the wold so we can leave you the fuck alone but that will never happen.
they are lee press on nails so it's ok if I get some barrel splinters there.

The thing I find most funny about all this is how the Pizzagate contingent, who can construe massive conspiracies out of the most casual of acquaintances, build endlessly complicated webs of cause and effect upon off the cuff turns of phrases can find absolutely nothing weird about Trump's legal defense being made up of the same people who helped Epstein walk away from his crimes with barely a slap on the wrist. If I were a mouthbreathing fuckwit post hoc'ing various ways to prove that an entire political party is nothing but a front for a globalist pedophile ring, that'd be a glaringly obvious A to connect to a B.
I guess because it's Trump, different rules apply. I mean, he's Q-anon.
Sup, Gold! :D

Looks like Lord Dampnut finally got an Ukraine investigation:

Ukraine's national police are investigating whether U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch was under surveillance in Kyiv last spring — something implied in a series of WhatsApp messages between a little-known Republican political candidate and an associate of Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's personal lawyer.
"Ukraine cannot ignore such illegal activities on the territory of its own state," the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement Thursday. The ministry says it's asking the FBI to assist in its inquiry.
The texts made public between Lev Parnas and Robert F. Hyde, a Trump supporter and retired Marine who is running for Congress in Connecticut, suggested Yovanovitch was being monitored both electronically and in person, in an apparent breach of diplomatic security.
"They are moving her tomorrow," Hyde wrote in one message. He added, "The guys over they asked me what I would like to do and what is in it for them."
Ukrainian authorities say the implication that an ambassador was "under illegal surveillance and her electronic gadgets were interfered [with] by the private persons at the request of the US citizens" suggests a possible violation of its own laws as well as the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which protects diplomats on foreign soil.

Question is: why does it have to be either/or? Both were close with Epstein, both are just as likely to have done something untoward as not, given their histories.
The only thing that makes me think Trump DIDN'T do anything is that he probably would've bragged about it by this point, and Republicans in the senate would now be explaining to us that while it's not
good that Trump had sex with 16 year olds, it's not really an impeachable offense, because the resulting intercourse was a nonbinding agreement, and the president can't be held liable for it, since minors can't legally consent. I mean, that's how credit cards work.
Starker on 18/1/2020 at 20:27
Um... you're joking, but Dershowitz has argued that if Lord Dampnut helped Putin retake Alaska, it wouldn't be an impeachable offence.
In any case, you can bet that Republicans would be very concerned and some of them might even go as far as to furrow a brow or make a strong remark.

I bet they'll go as far as clucking their tongues in stern disappointment.

It's not that you don't want to take over the world, it's that you can't. You know that Libertarianism is pie-in-the-sky. The only time anything resembling it worked was during the middle ages and predictably, the most violent and privileged people ruled, because small gubmint \0/. That is the natural consequence of your ideology, as revealed by your ethos, "let the world burn". Sour grapes. If we can't have our fantasy zero profile government, we will just do our best to fuck things up for everybody else.
You accuse both the left and the right as equally corrupt and think that exonerates you, think that is the end of your responsibility. But you are enabling the worst of the worst on both sides. That's not skepticism it is base and destructive cynicism.
