Don't assume for a second that Trump actually cares about border security. The wall is his legacy, his campaign promise. That's what matters most to him.

That much is obvious. I just like the symbolism.
Renzatic on 6/11/2019 at 06:54
Yeah, I know. I'm saying it to get the obvious out there on official record.
What everyone said would happen is now happening. The wall is just a big slab of whatever. Without active security, it's nothing more than a simple obstacle between points A and B destined to be circumvented sooner rather than later. If we're gonna spend that much money, it'd be better to do so on shit that's cheaper, admittedly less impressive, but has a better of chance of working. Like drones, motion detectors, and more active border patrol agents to oversee it.
But no, Trump wanted his wall. He got a little bit of it, got his minor victory to spite those open border democrats, and, hey, look, people are getting around it with fucking Sawzalls they picked up at El Depósito Por Tu Casa or whatever it is they call Home Depot down in Mexico. Now they're gonna have to spend more money fixing up the damage, and strengthening it against future Sawzall attacks. That'll cost at least $3 million per square foot.
Though you do have to give Trump credit for one thing: he made an entire group of people with an inherent distrust of the government suddenly believe that said government will actually be able to complete a project on time, on budget, and on the first attempt. This, moreso than anything, should show you just how lost in delusion these people are.

In other news, Democrats have apparently flipped both houses in Virginia and won the governor's race in Kentucky.
Whoops.

Renz: This is the funniest thing I've seen/heard about Herr Trump's wall.

I've heard about this previously. Given that this story has been sourced from a rumor section of some random magazine, I'll take it with a few grains of salt until it comes up in the impeachment inquiry.

Nicker, the Mail is not a reputable paper so I'd prefer to know in advance if that's the source so I can choose not to click on the link. That goes for the Express as well. They are the only two I feel very strongly about though. The Spectator would have been a better source though it does seem bit raggy these days.
The Spectator's not that random, Renz, it's been going since 1828 although it does look a bit sensationalist, I'll agree. I've not read it for years.

Isn't this clear to every human on Earth? A dork is a dork, he can never be anything other than that, only pretending.
