And all this is new to you?
Ten years yes. I´ve always thought it gets really bad in about 100 years.

However, isn't the number one contributor of greenhouse gases volcanoes by far? I mean, from (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volcano#Effects_of_volcanoes) Wikipedia's article on volcanoes, it claims that volcanic activity alone releases about 130-230 teragrams every year of only carbon dioxide.
Apart from anything else, no. The number one Greenhouse Gas is water in the atmosphere.

Although, they sure did slap Isaac Hayes in the face when he left. A guy that had been loyal for that long deserved better.
You don't think there was perhaps a
teensy-weensy bit of hypocrisy on his part? It'd be remiss of Matt & Trey if they let that slip without comment.

This includes a rise in sea level, an increase in violent storms, and a massive displacement of human populations.
Are you talking projections, or things that are currently happening and will get worse? Because most of the population displacement I'm aware of is caused by guys with guns.

An international study published in the science journal Nature earlier this year predicted that climate change could drive more than a million species towards extinction by the year 2050. More:

Bangladeshis would be forced to migrate by the millions. Other rice growing lowlands which would be flooded include those of Viet Nam, China, India and Thailand. Millions of climate refugees could be created by sea level rise in the Philippines, Indonesia and Egypt. More:

Any idea how dependent those countries are on rice-growing lowlands in terms of food supply? Would flooding result in famine as well?

Personally, I'm looking forward to all the benefits that a warmer climate will give me.

OK!!!! LISTEN UP PEOPLE!!!
The thing is... THIS.
We all know its happening, we all know global warming is starting, yet we still are waiting for the news to tell us before we actually do anything about it, or before we start actually worrying. WORRYING DOES NOTHING!!! The government knows too but they're not gonna report much about it because that would cause PANIC!!! And we dont want panic because then riots start, suicude's happen, and all of that bullshit excuse my french.
BUT!!!
If it gets close enough, and walmart isn't selling enough ,THEN they'll tell us to prepare so we will all fill our closets with canned food, pop tarts, and water thus increasing walmarts income, and rasing the ammount we pay in taxes for the year. the truth is, they KNOW we'll panic. After roswell, they're never gonna announce something extreme EVER AGAIN!!! until like... 3 days before its gonna happen. If you know, do something. O don't know what but wining, and worrying wont do SHIT!
excuse my french
