Articles that make American Spectator readers uncomfortable:
* Political
Article I, Section 8, Clause 3 of the Constitution, which says that yes, congress can actually do shit and they're fucktarded when they complain that it's unconstitutional.
* Grammatical
"de la" 1) because it's french, 2) because it's indefinite, and ambiguity really fucks with their heads because they're too feebleminded to see the world as anything but black and white.
* Sartorial
Pink Ass-less leather chaps. Mostly because of the chafing.

Vivian: I've actually met, in my college career, a number of intelligent, knowledgeable and competent individuals who were homeschooled. I agree that it's problematic en masse, but to make it sound like everyone who does it ends up as some sort of yokel is painting with far too broad a brush.

Maybe that's why you never meet any homeschooled people doing anything worthwhile with their lives.
You are grossly misinformed. You might as well have just told me the grass is blue. You seriously need to get at least a minimal education on a subject before spouting off and saying something like that, wow.
Edit - What Aerothorn said. I went to a techincal college and knew quite a few homeschooled kids in technical majors.

The biggest argument for homeschooling is fett.
The biggest argument against homeschooling is Conservapedia.
Draw your own conclusions.

I always thought school had more roles than just hammering knowledge in the kids' brains.

Homeschoolers have textbooks and curriculum requirements and testing standards to meet, or else the homeschooling isn't even legal in places
Then what is the fucking point? The whole thing seems like such a bizarre idea. Also, the modern homeschoolers (is that the word?) you mention, i.e. those that were born in the age of big government and state-sponsored free education for all (thats right in the US as well, right?) are restricted to:
Whoopi Goldberg
Dakota Fanning
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Agatha Christie
I'll give you Fett, but those guys aren't exactly a brain trust.

Home schooling is overrated as a way of immortalising yourself. Go write a book instead.
At least it won't hate you in a few years.
