I don't really expect this article to be popular, because its going to clash with some people. Either way you read it, your blood is going to boil: you will decide that the man is so stupid and misinformed as to drive you into a fury, or you will agree with his points and be made furious anyway.
That said, I found it to be a fairly decent piece because it describes very well the Eugenist mentality that seems dominate American Political thought nowadays.
I'd copy-paste, but its a pretty long article

Here, I'll summarize:
Quote:
I wish those smart people would stop running the country. If those ignorant people ever got together and took over, we'd be in GREAT shape, because inchoate rage is a fantastic way to decide major political decisions. The End.

It works, but the site is under a pretty heavy load.

Rule 17. Don't read anything that CCC links to.

That's a hefty chunk of text right there. I will say this though - homeschooling is great provided you're happy with the kids never learning anything the parents don't know. And your happy with the parents never learning anything new from the kids. Or meeting other kids. In fact, its pretty good if you're generally happy with no-one learning anything or anyone new. Maybe that's why you never meet any homeschooled people doing anything worthwhile with their lives.

A laughable claim, quite a few historically famous Americans were either homeschooled or tutored at home. Not all homeschoolers are like the Duggars.

Um. That's inflammatory and grossly ignorant coming from you. Quite asshole-ish and hypocritical. You know damned better than to go with ignorant stereotypes, what with your rants about thickos who disregard science and facts. So you're joking, then? Homeschoolers have textbooks and curriculum requirements and testing standards to meet, or else the homeschooling isn't even legal in places. Fett'll set you straight, unless you're trolling people like him to get a rise, after he and others have tackled the thicko myths time and again on this forum, and having been homeschooling his children already.
Pretending you aren't trolling, a simple Google search gives a few examples that may be true. See if you can discredit the claims for all but three of them:
