Your stairs are far too steep and very high. Each step is 18 units high and 18 units wide. The steepest ascent I would recommend is using steps 8 units high and 16 units wide.

18 they can't do.
16 they can *if* they are just walking normally and you get lucky.
8 up by 16 across (like the static meshes that come with the editor) they can handle even at a full enraged run, so is kind of the best place to aim.
Basically what Nomad said, since he ran across that a while back.

no, u wronged!
I've tried as experiment, and the stairs can be high until 14, and the AI ascends regularly.
The problem, instead, seems to having Garrett, that on the highest stairs seems to climb instead to ascend. lol :ebil:

It depends also on how deep they are.
if it's a 45 degree angle they'll struggle to get up it at all. So 1:1 is bad.
5 accross : 3 up maybe, if they aren't in a hurry.
2:1 no bother, so is the recommended setup.
I've done some of those experiments too. And they really can't get up some slopes when running: My very first FM attempt got stuck on that problem.
And if the AI can just move normally up 14s but Garrett has to jump/climb or is otherwise disprortionately slowed down it's still bad: it needs to be smooth and consistant for both.
