Well now... that was an amusing little anecdote, but it won't hold water. You see, I've already seen The Story of Rikki, and I can assure you that your version has almost nothing in common with it.

(and I, too, take my ferrets for walks in harnesses: they aren't good at "heel".)
My ferret memorized my walking routes; we went on half-hour long walks without harness or line and I usually had to correct my dog more than I had to correct my ferret. He was a clever little bugger. :)
Though I had to keep an eye on him all the time. I've never seen so little sky as during those walks. :erm:

Ferret's, once they get your finger, they don't let go! :eek: I grew up with Ferrets and Pole Cats, they make great pets, until they bite your finger! :laff:
