Wow. I thought you all would catch the drift of that little lame joke. Apparently all I've done is land myself in a massive Dethtoll Airplane situation. :(

I find (
http://www.tiddlywiki.com/) TiddlyWiki pretty interesting, if not amusing, although the description is misleading...
Quote:
TiddlyWiki is a single html file which has all the characteristics of a wiki [...]
Only not, because
a) it can only be edited locally* (that is not when loaded from remote webserver, dear netizen) and
b) it's not really a useful collaboration tool because a) and because there's no revision history and no multi user management
So why is it called a wiki then? Beats me. It does share the WikiWord linking with wikis. Anyway, what it's really good at is the user interface: Creating content and linking it is a breeze. And reading it is actually fun, kinda like I always imagined "hypertext" to be.
* If you want an online TW the easiest thing to do is to create one at (
http://tiddlyspot.com) It's still not usable for collaboration though.

Unlike Arrested Development, the CBC is For British Eyes Onlllyyy.
I've been out all day, but I'm back and I get it. :laff:

i bet you still gorge on reruns of Friends, Seinfeld and Everybody hates Raymond. No? The Drew Carey show perchance?
Wow dreamcatcher, you nailed my taste in TV so perfectly there! And I like how you're all edgy and stuff, not watching any network television at all. I wish I had my own identity instead of this one I've borrowed from HBO and Tommy Hilfigger. To set out on the seas of individuality as you have, not caring what other people think! Listening to whatever music I so choose with no regard to radio or billboard charts! To bask in the pure light of self-awareness as you have, to stand up and scream to the masses, "THIS IS ME, WORLD! LIKE IT OR LEAVE IT!
I want to start on this life-changing journey as soon as possible. Please provide a full list of the shows YOU watch so that I too can swim the brainless waters of the internet, instilling light, wisdom, and quality television advice to those lost in darkness. You should probably PM me. I don't think these others are ready yet.
@thefonz: If my suggestion of Arrested Development has in any way harmed you or your family, I deeply apologize.

You're after good American comedy? Curb Your Enthusiasm is the answer.
The US remake of The Office (this really comes into its own during the 2nd season), 30 Rock and Reno 911 are pretty decent too.

Good American comedy died with Titus.
You're just in denial because you didn't pay TV. The cream of the crop is on HBO, FX and Showtime.
That never stopped anyone mind you, heard of the internet?

Sure if I want to watch TV shows without any closed captioning or subtitles. They almost never include that shit.
