ATS (as the cool kids say) will be released next Wednesday. Anyone else here HYPED about this? If not, here's a video to get you hyped:

Initially it'll only include California and Nevada(Arizona will be added as a free DLC later) and only 2 trucks. And gameplaywise it doesn't seem to differ at all from ETS2. Thankfully the pricetag matches the limited content, at $20/€20.

Ok mostly I'll just be playing it the ol' regular monitor way, but I'll be sure to borrow the DK2 from work and try it with the Rift as well. ETS2 with the Oculus Rift was ok, not great, because it's a bit too pixelated to see far ahead and read roadsigns easily. (my preferred way of playing these games is turning off the GPS and just navigating using roadsigns)

Yeah I dunno. Never had that much trouble getting onto the road in ETS2. Hopefully it was just an anomaly.
