Where are all the ambient sounds kept...I'd like to use some ambients in a thief 2 mission and I have converted the .ogg ones that are available in the editor T3 folder but none of the .wav ones will convert (xilisoft wav to mp3 converter) and I cant find the ambients or the comments made by the servants/guards etc.
Thanks.:thumb::thumb:

Thankyou all, I shall have a play this afternoon...I may even dust off the Ts mission I started a while ago...I'm due to build another computer in a few weeks, this ones motherboard is dying horribly...Many thanks.

Righto, I've opened up the SchemaMetafile_HardDrive.csc with sound drone and have found some mouth watering ambients.
I have downloaded UltraEdit as per Eeps notes and scratched my head, now what do I have to do to extract the ambient from the csc file to my documents so I can adjust it for Thief2 use.
Sorry to be so thick,but this is all new to me.
Thanks

I suggest you also to install Foobar, that is a very fast OGG<->WAV converter, because many files of the CSC will be extracted in the OGG format.

Absolutely brilliant thanks...they now show up after I ordered by file name before extracting...I had not ordered them first and I could not find anything in the Sound Drone folder...Now I can have some fun.
